BEST Fishing SPOT for BEGINNERS in San Antonio, Texas

Howdy Y'all! If you're new or seasoned on the fishing front, the San Antonio Riverwalk is always a solid choice. You might catch something very big, you might just get a few smaller fish, but it just seems to produce. If you have a few kids that want to learn some simple fishing techniques, have them start on any of these less traveled areas along the San Antonio River.

We haven't noticed this area before Aqua, but we're going to visit there soon! This beats us casting around tourists and adding extra piercings at no charge! Terrific video, love this......

Haven't really fished that section of the river much caught a few slab bluegill that's it most my luck has been by confluence park caught 3 3lb cat's last year on the solar eclipse on shrimp and cut bait

Thanks for hanging out, hope all is well! Honestly, nothing special is needed, go with anything medium light with fast action. In this video, I'm using a Shimano Vanford reel and a St Croix, light, fast action rod. Not certain on the exact model numbers off the top of my head. My new favorite setup is the Shimano Vanford reel, pick the size that works best for you and the Shimano Zodias rod. I'm not a gear snob, but this pairing has really made me a believer in the the shimano mid line setups. I hope you're able to get outdoors and get on em', have a terrific afternoon!
