My very favorite flea market, that my family never missed, is the Rose Bowl swap meet! Pasadena California. All of the antique merchandise vendors set up in the parking lot and all of the new item sellers set up around the Rose Bowl.

Rose Bowl Flea Is the granddaddy of them all. I still have a 1900 craftsman Sideboard that I bought there almost 50 years ago!!! I live on Whidbey Island in Washington now and really miss Pasadena and the Rosebowl Swapmeet. There are many meets in the So Cal area.

We go every other years. Just got back. I had 2 things on my list I didn’t find, which surprised me. French provincial furniture and tobacco stakes. I did get lots of great “junk”. Lots of furniture feet and legs which I turn into candlesticks. Sell lots of those. I did buy 5 doors for 10.00 each. Going to make some great Christmas trees.

Rogers Flea Market, Ohio. I look for vintage. I stay away from manufactured goods. Rogers has pretty good prices.

I’ll trade ya Corpus Christ, I mean Selenaville and throw in Robstown, home of the fighting heroine junkies, state incarceration elementary school champs every year in a row. That’s a good deal for Canton. You won’t have to worry about the huge garage sale anymore. You can buy whatever you want on the west side cheap. Whatcha say?

The "US Zone" on the Bavarian plate you got means it was made in the few years after WWII, when the US occupied parts of Germany and was under American control. The areas the US controlled were Bavaria (where so much porcelain was made) and down into southern Germany. Other areas of Germany were under the control of Russia, the United Kingdom, and France. Any items made in those areas were marked accordingly. Generally from 1945 until around 1952.............A lot of people collect items from that era...............Should have picked up the chickens in that one box.........

I was raised near the flea market in the 80,s I went to school in van tx the flea market was big deal in the 1980,s now I want to see it again now I 44 living up in tn then jerrys pizza if there still there all most to I-20 was the best places for a pizza back then good times every Friday that's were the locals went in the 80,s

jerrys was the place to go after all the football and basketball games.my family all went to van i went to martin's mill and brownsboro.. you should go see the forge at ben wheeler its a big deal now:)
