I remember when I first became a single dad I made great use of my local dollar general. It kept my son and I well fed during a very rough time in our lives. I had never really needed to rely on those kinds of discount stores before. I was so happy they were around though! Although I shop at the typical chain stores now, the discount ones will always hold a special place in my heart as an affordable option that came through when times were tough. Hi Yumi, I understand the feeling of feeling abandoned whilst feeling lonely and betrayed by people you thought were meant to love, understand and help you. Whether it be your pain and sadness, your depression, the scar it leaves it permanent and causes so much grief and leaves you doubting yourself as a person. You will doubt yourself, fall into despair and cry and hurt, scream and yell. I found myself on the edge of the abyss screaming and crying. Vent let it out let it take its course, grow and become stronger, you can overcome it, you will overcome it for your child. Pass on the wisdom, give your child the things you didn't get, slowly it will dull.
