Love queens and monsters! I purchased it after sampling the line and watching your review of the house. I’m so glad I have it! The cocoa notes in dry down is beautiful and unique. I also love the clean ingredients. I don’t get a headache wearing it. My focus right now is getting rid of fragrances that cause icky headaches and buying those that work for me...even if it’s just a few. This one is a keeper!

Fun choices. "The kids™" have dubbed this style "East Coast Grandma Chic". I should be insulted by that, but I'm not. 😂 These are all good choices. I'm partial to the fig scents. I also love date scents. Just gentle, Earthy, natural sweetness.🥰 I don't hate gourmands but sometimes they go overboard with the sugar. Mini edit. Oh no, not smashed bottles! I've actually been discussing storage units over on Fragrantica. It's important to use shelves that allow you to pull stuff out with sliding units from the sides. It's what stores use. Not pooping on you or anything. This is a super common problem. I've also bee trying to drive home the importance of keeping light away from storage areas, which can be problematic because people want to show off their collections too, which I totally get too. You're not alone in knocked bottle city. I think it happens to all of us at some point.

Oh yes. Half of my perfumes are boxed up in a separate closet. The other 1/4 are on my dresser far away from light (direct and indirect) and the other 1/4 are scattered around in baskets I store under my bed. No. Direct. Light. Ever. 🥰I’m a good girl there…😉

I choose my fragrance for the day the same way you do! The weather and my clothes and sometimes also colours. The clean aesthetic I call "crisp white shirt fragrance". My favourites for those are the original Y by Yves Saint Laurent; White Linen; and the amazing and hard to find Cerruti 1881 in the nude pink box, with its note of fresh linen

Another super helpful video Chris! Now that we live in the subtropics I could use a "clean aesthetic scent", and that category doesn't come naturally to me (amber-florals and amber-vanillas are my wheelhouse). Oh, that Architect's Club - it's in the love box for sure! Thank you for the decant! I don't know that i could get past the shish kebab to reach the wet dirty rose! Cumin is such a weird note in perfumery. I think I have it in a couple scents, although I don't think it gets listed as often as it gets used. Interestingly enough, I couldn't remember the name of the fragrance I have that has cumin in it as a listed note until you mentioned that Rose 33 is your rainy day fragrance - the one I couldn't remember is an Atelier Cologne called Mandarin Glacial, and I only EVER wore it on...wait for it...rainy days!!! That's just TOO WILD! Ha ha! Gypsy Water! Ryan doesn't like musk, so he doesn't like that one. I have the Oil Perfumery version of that one, and I use it in the vacuum cleaner. Our house smells nice and clean and chic! xo

I adore Parisian Musc! Though, to be fair, I love most Matière Première fragrances and am gradually buying the whole line. You mentioned Italian brands that aren’t available in the US. Have you tried Tuttotondo? It’s an indie brand with a gorgeous Tiramisu and a delectable chestnut scent (Castagna).

Hi Chris! If you don't mind me asking, when you spray Clean Skin, about how many sprays do the job for you (to get that you just smell great it's not really perfume vibe)? I have some situations where perfume isn't the best (so I've been wearing scented lotion, but this sounds like it might work)! Many thanks and no worries if you don't get to this. All the best! Oh gosh it depends on what I’m going for. After a shower hanging out at my house maybe 6-8? If I’m going out for several hours I always moisturize , spray maybe 10-12 times and include spraying on clothes.

I love Rose 31 also. I will say my polished chic perfume would have to be Hermes Galop. I had to have this due to the bottle as I am a rider, (horse woman). I blind bought it and it's pretty darn chic and I am rarely, if ever chic hahaha! I am a jeans and Frye boots sort unless I am in my riding breeches and tall boots along with my horse manure scent. Actually the smell of my horses skin is ambrosia to me anyway so there ya go! oxJulia

You can't have a blue day and stay in bed and mope when you have to go feed and take care of your horse and besides, I think he likes my perfumes :o) If you do get this one, I hope you like it but I think you will based on your other perfumes. Tient de Neige is about as clean and powdery as it gets. I interpret baby powder as being sweeter but the aforementioned is the OG clean and powdery. Try tracking down a sample and see if that’s what you’re looking for. 😉❤️
