Mint in perfume sounds interesting and fresh. I have always steered clear of anything like that as I felt it would be like using aromatherapy….I find that mint really irritates my eyes. Is this perfume much softer or does it have that punch of mint? I am intrigued by your description.

Agreed, you aren’t spraying enough! I typically get one compliment each time I go out with fragrance applied 😊. I also layer my fragrance with body oils so it can last all day. I used to spritz 1-2 times and walk through it and never got a compliment.

Bergamot...yummmmm. I fell in love with this on Fire Island showering with a bergamot gel in the guest bath. Couldn't get enough. The sad thing is bergamot doesn't last long. It's very much a top note when I want it to be a bass note and last throughout the fragrance.

Great selection Veronica 😊. Hydra sounds lovely and you have me thinking about Bubble Bath again😂. I've been curious about the Acqua Colonia brand for a while now. My favorite fresh and clean scents at the moment are: Glossier You, Hermès Twilly Eau Ginger, Cacharel Noa, Gold Coast, Wulong Cha, Narcotic Flower, Wonder Rose and Rose Greedy. You might want to see if you can find a perfume called Costa Rica instant vacation by Mark it came out in 2009 the notes are watermelon, guava ,mango blossom ,orchard musk,sand,driftwood I don’t know if you can still get it but the watermelon is stunning and I haven’t found any other perfume that has this particular juicy watery watermelon note it might just be what you’re inner child is looking for💖

You might not love Vert Desir either, then, since it's a bit grassier than Herba Fresca. I think the Dermstore has travel sprays of it if you want to give it a whirl without committing to a full bottle. 👍👍👍

I've wanted Bubble Bath forever but have been so afraid to buy it due to those dang fragrantica reviews(and I KNOW BETTER!🙄) You talked me into it when I find it at a good discount! Gold Coast sounds wonderful! I had no idea those were subway tokens on the bottle, how cute! Is Florbotanica still available? That's a good one. The new Valentino Green Stravaganza is a nice fresh scent but I haven't given it a full wear yet. Nishane Wulong Cha is great for the heat!! Eau de Soleil Blanc & Ocean Di Gioa too! Le Labo Another 13 is a must for me❤ I don't get out often having Leukemia, but when I do go to my appointments I'm always sad when I don't get a compliment on my very expensive, well-chosen (😂) fragrances😕🤨😒😭

Another watermelon fragrance is Flora Salvaggia from the Aqua Allegoria line from Guerlain ❤️ it's a green, slightly earthy watermelor, like you just picked one from the garden, and then comes the juiciness and some floral nuances ❤️❤️❤️

I recommend Dirty by LUSH and then also Maison Margiela's newest, From The Garden. Ohmygoodness. I *think* you will appreciate them. Herba Fresca is a total win for me, need to try the Veronique Gabai. I love Still and Glow by J.Lo ❤ despite the controversy, she launched the first celeb perfume, a trend I am grateful for. Many are hidden gems and affordable I need to try more of these thank you. Green, fresh, aquatic, clean are my favs for spring/summer.

I got married in Las Vegas in Feb/04 and we went to the Grand Canyon now I forgot the side I think South, where the Eagle Mountain is(not the one really commercial one) the one with the Reservation. And it was like 20 degrees, I felt fine because I love the cold temps and I was prepared clothes wise...but what got me was the altitude, I was almost crawling hiking like a big baby. I should've known better because I have chronic asthma and hello my lungs are not made for that kind of altitude and exercise exertion. 🩷

💖💕💫Ah yes! Another top notch list 😍 I love vert désir! thank you! As for a melon scent: cucumber melon b*tch (sorry) by Sucreabeille is the closest thing I found to melon that’s not jolly rancher-y. It dries down to watermelon with a hint of musc added to the melon. I think this is what prevents it from being candy-like. It’s a guilty pleasure, it lasts 6-7hrs and is really lovely. It is not available right now but their scents come back in rotation, it will be back eventually.

I have a niche tip for you I bought yesterday: LYE by Gabriella Chieffo. All scents of this house are cool, special & pretty, but LYE is a green scent for the heat, with a touch of clean incense: works great. Many compliments for me on the Saturday party 😅

The only watermelon fragrance I can recommend is Simone from Tocca but it is more of a “perfumery” watermelon. But it’s nice and sweet.

I just got a Tocca sample set and I'm rather taken with Simone, which has a nice watery and juicy watermelon note. It doesn't smell like a jolly rancher to me and smells lovely from start to finish, despite changing in the drydown. I'm planning to search for a discounted or partial bottle! I'm going through a bottle of Still right now. To me, it smells like lemon iced tea for awhile then mellows out with the sandalwood. I also found a 1 oz bottle of Trussardi Donna for just $23 to try and I really love that (not sure it qualifies as clean). I'd probably repurchase both of those. ~Cynthia

At 1:20 It hasn't even hit 80 degrees yet in LA or San Diego yet this Spring.. just low to mid 70s. We don't start warming up until early July.. but we stay warm until early November so it "evens out". I have friends going to Las Vegas tommorrow and it's supposed to be 110 on Wensday.. 😮 I was going to go with them but have too much going on right now so I had to cancel.
