Yes the El Cortez was a big surprise to me. The cocktail was amazing and that slot was fantastic! If you're facing the front of the bar, there are two new slot machines that the bartender said were recently installed. I played the machine on the right. Good luck! If you remember, does the International Beer Bar in the Golden Nugget have any beer selections from Belgium by any chance? If not, is there any way you can make a video of the best places to grab an international beer in Las Vegas/Fremont street at all?

It's tough to find a Belgium beer in Las Vegas, especially downtown on Fremont Street. I know because I really like Belgium's too! I don't remember a Belgium at Golden Nugget at any of their bars. And I haven't run across one in any of the hotel casinos on Fremont. There's a Yard House in the Linq casino on the strip, they've had Belgium beers in the past. And the new tap house on the strip called Brewdog has had a Belgium. Those are my best recommendations.

It's the biggest most beautiful property on Freemont now. But hey, the El Cortez has been around forever and what they might lack in some aspects, they make up in others. Boy do they know how to keep it swanky when it comes to comped cocktails

Hey! Thanks for watching and for your question. We were all noobs once so no worries! To answer your question, I never bet the max and I still always get comped drinks. Some bartenders in casinos will make you play till a little light turns green on your machine, and some will just comp your drink right away without you having to play much. It all depends on the bartender, and the rules at each casino, and how much each bartender follows the rules (some bartenders don't care too much, some do). When you're playing at a bar were the bartender wants you to play till the light turns green, it usually only takes a minute or two of playing. And you don't have to bet max in any of these circumstances. Hope this helps a little!

To answer your question, as long as you put some money in the slot machine and start playing you can usually ask for a comped drink right away. I always do. Some bars have drink menus, some don't. It's helpful to know what you want when you sit down just in case they don't have a menu.

Well, a good tip is subjective. I have tipped 5 or more at times and so have my friends. But I think a good tip is 2-3 bucks. That amount seems to satisfy most situations at most bars. That's my honest answer

@@Angelo-uo2gj So great! You guys are going to have fun. I've done a helicopter ride around the strip at night and it was pretty awesome. I recommend it, but make sure you go at night so you can see the Vegas lights. Haven't done the exotic car ride yet. We were going to but the price advertised was not the price when you start to talk to them. There are fee add ons including insurance and the price doubled with all the fees they don't advertise. But if money isn't an issue, go for it!

It’s videos like this that confuses people that don’t understand how the complimentary cocktail work when you gamble at the bar. Please don’t put out false information I work downtown and that’s definitely not how it works
