Level 2: The above plus; decent vodka (do not spend more than titos), decent tequila or mezcal, dark rum (I like Jamaican), light rum (I like Havana Club, legal or illegal), a cocktail whiskey either bourbon or rye, a sipping whiskey either bourbon or scotch, a decent gin, and brandy. Regans orange bitters, Peychauds bitters, good grenadine, and honey. Level 3: The above plus: Luxardo liqueur, Campari, Green Chartreuse, Campari, Lillet, Apple jack, apricot brandy, dolin dry and sweet vermouth, sparkling wine, orgeat, dark tiki rum, felernum, and fresh lemons limes pineapple and grapefruit .

Unfortunately that isn't how a Bramble is actually made. The creater in London has taught the drink to people who want to know the real recipe. First you don't muddle the berries they are a decoration. It is built in the glass not shaken at all. And it is lemon juice and simple syrup it was a cube of sugar to muddle with lemon in the glass but you can use sugar syrup. Then gin is poured in stirred with crushed ice then the ice is topped off like a fix then it has creme de mure' poured on top to drip down to form the look of Bramble stems that hold the blackberries bench the name and garnish is lemon wedge down the side and blackberries on top. It's a English Cocktail and please make correctly. People who know will send that thing back. Because it doesn't taste as good. And it's a experience and subtle changes as you drink it.

Hey, for the caipirinha, the traditional way is to use white sugar. It gives a crunchy and sweet addition to just syrup! It's true that we don't shake it much, or sometimes not at all, but the sugar is important. For one whole persian lime, you use 2 tablespoons of sugar, one for shaking and one for mixing in the glass after you pour it all. Of course, cachaça is added (I use two ounces and a splash).the sugar doesn't dissolve completely, that's why some people even use a coarser type of sugar to bring the crunch to the next level!

MrHoliday yes, this is why it’s 100% worth it to save your “getting totally blasted” nights for drinking at home, and keep your “casually drinking a couple craft cocktails” nights at the bar. The measurements are all there, its not measured to the glass its measured to the recipe. The ice is to dilute the drink the desired amount to created a more palatable flavor. If you want a cocktail without ice or not diluted with ice at all, just let the bartender know. But don't expect extra alcohol. It will taste stronger if thats what you want.
