I don't understand why you consider Capcut as the top free editor. With every update, it takes a free feature or two and makes it pro. The free version doesn't do much.

I was a capcut user for quite some times. But every update they took away some free features. Ever since they removed the audio limitations feature's to 14 lufs for KZbin. I moved back to Davinci Resolve now. And Davinci Resolve 19 now is just so good.

Great review! I just started using Capcut and it works well. Just two complaints. The first is that some of the interface isn't very intuitive. Probably just me learning. The other is the size of the timeline. It's teeny tiny even when I increase the height and use the zoom feature. I'd like to see them add the ability to import a script and use AI voices for it instead of just on the captions. I will probably continue to use and gain more experience.

You think if you master capcut and get bored you can jump to davinci later on? or there is a big gap?

daVinci resolve free is very bad. Reather start with capCut and later go to sonyVegas 100x better

Which is better between Adobe Premiere & Davinci Resolve? Perhaps you can make a video on the differences..?

I have video on my channel. You can see. DaVinci resolve is better. Kdenlive is also fine, free and open source.

Hello, I had a queston I’m looking to create review videos where I plan to add clips of a show over with my voice recorded in Audacity. I'm trying to decide between using the 2 software Here's what I need the editor to do: Horizontally flip a video, Color grade a video, Speed up or slow down a video, Add text over a video, Add echo to my voice I’m leaning towards CapCut because it’s more user-friendly, but I’m worried it might be too limited for my needs. Do you think CapCut can handle all of these tasks, or should I dive into DaVinci Resolve? I’m willing to learn DaVinci, but I’m hesitant because it seems more complicated and might have more tools than I actually need. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Thanks so much for this. I went back and tried to use my software editor that I was using before and the fuckers were trying to get me to pay $60 for a year. I thought I had purchased it ONE TIME before so I was like, yeah no thanks! Screw that bullshit. Cap Cut is awesome. Clean download ro my Mac, simple to use, and no water marks. Appreciate the suggestion!

Amazing... Does the Capcut allow offline edit too? Unlike the Android version that requires that you stay online

Would you know why the export files from cap cut on Mac is so much larger than when 8 export a project from my pc? I can’t see what settings I’m choosing that are different however the output file on my Mac is double that of my pc. Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you. 😊

JUSTIN I installed Capcut and signed in but I cannot locate a video recording tab/button/menu. Only the online Capcut has it. Is that correct or am I just not seeing it in the Win11 desktop?

I'm having an issue with all of my edited videos using the CapCut app. Example, a particular un-edited video uses 94MB of memory, after editing it using CapCut, the file goes to 638MB of memory. Am I doing something wrong, or is this the way it actually works. Please help.

Moved on from davinci because of the errors i get from installing it, used for a long time, but theres nothing i can do, win 11 now kinda doesnt accept it for me. Maybe someone here had the 0x7b error?

I just want some software to import a KZbin video for DEEP analysis. Do any of these do this? I am not interested in MAKING or POSTING videos. I want to import a video, and seek for hidden video editing being used. So, on the basic level, I need to be able to ZOOM and to SLOW the video. Much thanks.

I have some old camcorder tapes to edit up to an hour long. Is there a free video editor that does the job. I used capcut after many hours of editing tells me have to pay to export it 😢
