Question: I'm seeking a free WordPress theme with strong support for Google AdSense, affiliate advertising, and flexible ad network placement. My goal is to generate passive income by starting multiple blogs, and I'd like to use the same theme across all sites with different color and layouts. Your practical recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the great video!

Great overview of some very solid theme options mate... The Ollie theme has caught my attention a bit lately. Looks to be a good contender in the GutuenTurd arena

So which one is best for a magazine style site?
@globaltravelfanatic Жыл бұрын
Hi there from New Zealand. I love your work, however just a simple question. I want to create a straight forward website selling affiliate products INC Amazon and possibly others. I would love to know your personal view on what would be the best option currently? Something that loads quickly and something that would not take too long to build. I am already with Hostinger and have had a lot of Wordpress experience albeit a few years ago. I am of the older generation but VERY keen.

Take Blocksy for a spin. It has the option for affiliate functionality in the free version of the theme. I would start there and test it out to see if it’s a good fit for you. Alternatively, take a look at my recent video on the best themes for WP (it’s more about general purpose themes) and possible link one of those with ACF to build your own affiliate functions.

Having to upgrade Blocksy to the Pro version just to edit the footer is a bit iffy.
@WPTuts Жыл бұрын
You don’t have to upgrade Blocksy to do that. You can see that in the video. It’s Astra that has that limitation. A but mean for sure.

@@WPTuts Thanks for getting back to me on this. I thought it strange you mentioned it then went ahead to edit the footer. I did not catch that it was the Astra theme restriction.

Astra, too many plugins, very bloated
@WPTuts Жыл бұрын
How does Astra have too many plugins? It’s a theme that doesn’t have plugin dependencies. You don’t need to install the starter sites plugin and if you do, just remove it once you’ve chosen your preferred design. 🤷🏼♂️

@@WPTuts Thanks for your reply. I bought Astra's template, compared with Kadence's template, it has too many plugins. Astra templates uses Elementor, which is notorious for creating heavy code sites. Astra's Spectra blocks is weaker compared with Kadence Blocks or Stackable.

Then check the spectra theme the Astra team has just released. It's clean and lightweight, It may the theme you like.
@HaifengZhu-pn3uq Жыл бұрын
@@stanfordlee I bought Astra theme and requested refund. The only advantage is that Astra has more templates than Kadence and GeneratePress, many of its templates are built with Elementor, which is notorious. Also, its Spectra block is much weaker than Kadence and Stackable.
