Nice rundown of the frigs. The description of the LG door cool + might be a bit misleading though. It works great, but when you open the doors it shuts off (of course!), so you won’t get a blast of cold air in the face, but the shelves will be kept nice and cool when the doors are shut.

Also, the spec sheet for this frig says only 2 sensors. I believe one in frig and one in freezer.

Can you share the Bosch counter depth pro handle model numbers? I was told they discontinued. I have a Bosch on order, but I seriously considered kitchen aid, the hinges on the kitchen aid swing clear of cabinet faces while the Bosch do not.

I’m getting a wolf rangetop, do you have a recommendation for a fridge that matches more closely matches the metal color of the wolf line (sometimes it’s more of a white stainless steel vs a more premium looking bronzey stainless steel).

Great question.....You could panel a Fisher Paykel and buy Wolf handles. Bosch has the Thermador handles. Or buy a fridge without handles. They call it pocket handles.

Do you have a recommendation for a non-wifi, water only dispenser, French door fridge? While door in door would be nice - no need to see inside the fridge from a camera or have a iPad in the door. No need for multi-shaped ice.

Don’t need ice maker (more to go wrong) and we’re pretty good at remembering what’s in our fridge. But I like dual-compressor. Does LG make a good single-door fridge with dual-compressors?

Fisher Paykel has a 25” unit with ice and water dispenser with right and left door option.

Dispensers in the freezer work better.....the frozen cube exits the frozen door...

I had an LG french door frig that failed three months before the warranty was over. They sent a repair guy who worked on it for 3 hours and finally gave up and finally ordered a new compressor; he stated it was leaking freon. Three weeks later he installed the new compressor and guess what, it still leaked. He leak checked the frig for three hours and finally gave up. He stated the leak was somewhere in the freon distribution in the body of the fridge and couldn't fix it without disassembling it entirely thus it was unrepairable. I spent the next five months fighting with LG to replace the fridge but they stalled by slowly escalating my problem through three levels of "customer service". I finally gave up having wasted nine months of time with LG. The bottom line is, DO NOT PURCHASE LG, THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY!

Most GE fridges are MADE in china now a days, GE is bought by the chinese and on GE website there are only 3 models made in USA rest of them all made in China. Chinese model fizzled out in 5 years !

Incorrect , only 3 models are made in america, rest 30 models are made in china or mexico. Made in china are worst that fails after less than 5 years . GE is owned by China now a days
