We watch a lot of KZbinrs who create videos about Paris and other parts of France. I like Gabrielle because she gives us both languages. My question is though, when the heck is Theo going to make a comeback on his channel????

Yes to the butter tasting. I don’t like butter that much, but the French….the best!

I was in Paris again last Friday, and I’m always so positively surprised about the quality of the food, even on the touristy ‘Place du Tertre’. Love the ‘bon-vivant’ attitude, which I find quite typically French.🌻

The Loukoum are Turkish Delights in English. I think a butter tasting would be an excellent idea! You should look at some of Claudia Romeo’s videos - she visits Italian and British cheese producers, and a few French producers in the past. A group food tour of Paris would be pretty awesome! For Theo, I was also not a cheese eater for almost 30 years of my life…then I moved to Lyon for work . There I ate at my first Michelin starred restaurant, and they had a cheese cart. I was too embarrassed to say no, but at that point I had a “what have I been missing” moment. But still, there are some that I will not eat due to texture or if they are too salty.

Bonjour Gabrielle!

I'm an American and I don't really like American Chocolate all that much. I got all European Sweets for Christmas. Mayo and Mustard are both originally French it's so weird that it has become associated with the US. Being from Louisiana I know King Cake very well. We have it for Mardi Gras. Instead of Almond Paste we use a Cream Cheese center and a Cream Cheese Frosting for the top. We also sprinkle Green, Purple and Gold colored sugar on top of it. If you get the Baby (usually plastic) it means you have to bring the King Cake next year. Excellent video, Elle.

I put truffle salt in my husband’s Christmas stocking. He’s a chef, but I think that he is not quite sure what to do with that truffle salt…😂 He loves a good challenge, though!
