Désolé mais je me régale plus devant un bon couscous, une bonne paéla ou des aubergines a la parmesane que devant une bonne daube ou une bonne blanquette! The heavy cream and butter and cheese is mostly north style food. In the South, it more mediterranean. Dishes like Cassoulet, Ratatouille, Poulet Basquaise. Salade Nicoise, Bouillabaisse, duck confit with prunes...etc.
