Gonna say this here (Might make a community post) because Meta Flowey is what I'm known for in the lyrics community, and I'm already getting comments about this. I don't want to see any comments putting down other channels to prop mine up. Understood? This goes for all my videos, but seeing as Afterlife is one of my most popular, and I already regularly get people from both camps of "XXX is better than this!" or "This is better than XXX!" I want to make this clear: You can compliment someone's work without dragging someone else down. And I especially do not approve of anyone walking into other people's communities, big or small, and spouting "DRAMA JOSH IS BETER THANN THIS!!!1!" I would hope you all are better than that. Well technically there is a good chance that flowey gave up after breaking the fourth wall and seeing the player, being intimidated by seeing what to us would be a four dimensional god, on clover's side. You could say it’s Asriel’s dust being “amalgamated” with that flower, but I will admit it’s kind of a stretch. He’s definitely very different from the other true lab subjects and doesn’t fully fit the definition, though.

I first watched the Man on the Internet’s version, and I love seeing the different takes of this version! I especially love how the organic phase sounded like two different voices going back and forth from one ear to the other. All of the lyrics fit so well with each phase. Voicing Flowey’s lines during the scene with all the deceased Floweys piled up in the background was such a nice touch too. You can hear the back and forth between his childlike fear from his inner soul and the indifference interwoven amongst the other voices. It’s such a neat voice acting directing.

Can't promise anything. But if I were to do it, it wouldn't be for a while. I think my absolute favorite line in this is "From a Shining Beacon just like Me, and left me broken, empty, numb!" It hints at his true identity and how he lost his Soul- A really clever line. Well done! Though I do think the sound balance could be a lot better- The voice needs a bit more "force" behind it IMO. Otherwise, great song.

I really like this line, the way it shows how Flowey is actually desperate. Desperate to feel, to try to keep being him. A never changing world makes him starts to lose himself. He needs something else. If there are no new outcomes, what's left for him in this world? Nothing.
