Connor Hill That's not at all how it works. Commands run one after the other sequentially. It just happens that all the commands they used, with the exception of "wait", finish immediately. If you wanted door2 to open just as door1 was closing, you'd type door1.open(3); wait(3); door2.open(3). If you wanted a 2 second interval between the doors closing and opening, you'd use wait(5).

Connor Hill It did wait the full 5 seconds. The problem is that you're thinking the 5 second were supposed to go between the camera turning on and off again. They're not. The 5 second were between "telling the camera to turn off for 3 seconds" and "telling the camera to turn off for 3 seconds again," which results in a 2 second interval between the camera turning on and off again, and not 5. It's VERY SIMPLE, all you need to understand is that all the off, open, etc commands only TELL the objects to do a thing for a given amount of time. Telling the camera "shut off for 3 secs plz" takes no time at all, so the command after it runs right away, not 3 seconds after.

The reason why that delay wasn't working was because when you put in the wait for 5 seconds the timers the second the camera went off because the command to turn off the camera activated then the next command activated
