There are so many idiots in the comments section saying that it's ripping off GMW. It's not. Girl Meets World is an awesome show but not everything revolves around it. Best Friends Whenever is actually a pretty good show. The acting and writing may be cringe-worthy at times but overall, it's got a good plot and decent character development. And it's definitely not the same as GMW. How about you guys try watching the first few episodes of this show before judging it?

It is like GMW there are two bffs one Is sassy one is sweet one is blonde other is brunette there's a smart kid that falls in love with another smart kid they have a little groups the only difference is one time travels and one teaches valuable life lessons (if u ask me and a lot of other people GMW is better written)

I really don't understand why people think that either. Best Friends Whenever and Girl Meets World are entirely different shows with different plots. Best Friends Whenever's kind of main idea is friendship, with the time travel, comedic twist that makes it all come together. Girl Meets World is more of a show about growing up (and I really don't understand the plot in certain episodes) Honestly, Best Friends Whenever is an amazing show and I think that everyone should watch it, kids and adults alike. =)

To everyone out there who's saying BFW is copying GMW, do you think they were the first show to have a blond and brunette as best friends? It's super common. For example there was/is iCarly, Hannah Montana, K.C. Undercover, Zoey 101, Liv & Maddie, The Thundermans, Jessie, A.N.T. Farm, Good Luck Charlie, BUNK'D, as well as a couple Australian shows like H2O had Cleo & Emma, Mako Mermaids had Cam & Zac, Carly & Evie, Sirena & Nixie, and Ondina & Mimmi, and Dance Academy had Kat & Tara. And these are just from shows I watched that aren't GMW or BFW. Besides that, the concepts of the shows themselves are completely different. Best Friends Whenever is a show about two best friends who time travel and have adventures together, as best friends. Girl Meets World is about best friends one of whom's dad is their teacher and teaches them life lessons through his history lessons. Tell me again what's similar other than the main characters being blond and brunette, because that's been done thousands of times.

Everyone is talking shit about the show without even watching it. Sure they're blond and brunettes and are similar to girl meets world but it's way better than meets the eye. I love the show it's WAY better acted out than girl meets world, the characters rock. The time travel is amazing, they travel to places and make the audience learn new things to. Who cares if they're blond and brunettes, it's a great show, and very relatable when with the characters. Girl meets world sucks horribly, I wish they'd cancel it but this show is my life.
