not sure about these, but i got an alienware laptop for 2k about 7-8 years ago? the only issues im having now are that i can't play it unplugged at all (it dies within 2 minutes, but this only started within the past year) and that new games are just more than it can handle most of the time. so if you take care of them they seem to last.

My personal opinion, if you can do maintenance (like, cleaning out the fans, replacing the thermal paste) every 6 month or so, it could last you more than 2 years, but if you use Conservative mode (limits battery charge to 60 or 80%) it could possibly go 5 years, I own a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 (2020) and it's still working fine, I didnt turn on Conservative mode until mid-2023, but it only lost 23wh of charge iirc, but the main thing that will determine the laptop longevity is how it's used(game 24/7, or used 2-5 hours a day), the build quality, and most importantly luck
