Really appreciate your analysis and knowledge. Just saw this pop up in my feeds. Thank you. I purchased a used boat this January after a 20 year fishing hiatus. My son is helping me thorough the newer electronics available. I upgraded to a 93sv ultra for the console and a 106SV for the bow. Not got live scope yet but that's an option. I have a 93sv gt53 and a 93sv gt54 the only difference is the quality of the picture same thing on both

When putting livescope on with the 93sv. Do I put the 93sv transducer on aswell or just the livescope transducer?

probably one of the smaller echomap sv options like the 73 uhd or uhd2

the biggest benefit of the UHD93 gen 1 is that it only pulls an amp an hour vs 3+ amp an hour that the UHD2 and bigger units pull...this is huge for those who fish it with a shuttle and want to save battery weight...

Hello, my question is I have a Garmin 182C on my boat now that is not working. I would like to upgrade to an updated united but would like to use the cables that are already run through the boat and depth finder is there any units I can upgrade too?

Can you network the UHD2 to the GPS MAP 1022? I have the GPS MAP 1022 just for live-scope

They will only share waypoints. For full networking capabilites you will want another GPSMAP
