If you want to know the math he did on his calculator it is simple. The 2nd chain for $1500 is 26 grams. Out of the 26 grams 14.8 grams of it is .999 fine Gold assuming it is 14K. 26gramsX.57= 14.8 (.57 represents 57% of pure gold in the chain) 14.8x$101.35= $1,500 He is charging $101.35 a gram for that chain.

Got a 14k Miami cuban ring a few months ago n honestly it wasn't bad for the price and gold weight, but the ring i got is definitely imperfect. One link has gold melted over the middle gap crossing over to another link and all the links have odd/random little "cuts" between them. Still love trax and the products they put out, but in my personal experience (which could just be a oddity) the quality control wasn't the best.
