Man I bought about $50 of jewelry from that Rose Gold and Black website a couple weeks ago and was blown away by how much of a scam it is! They have a "flash sale" that looks like it's always going on, and the red flags that I'm now seeing are: -there's no place to leave reviews -THERE ARE NO RETURNS FOR ITEMS ON SALE (WHICH IS ALL ITEMS) -Shipping was slow, and delivery was through their website instead of fedex or another delivery service. -most pictures are not on models with any detail. All my necklaces were way too small Each piece I got looks incredibly cheap and now it looks like I can't return them. Maybe their quality used to be a little better in the past, but if you're getting anything in the cheaper end of their store prepare for it to look like total garbage. The nice thing though is now I'll be much more careful about buying anything online for a while now!

Another thing for me (and this is just a personal preference) would be to only wear plain tops when wearing a chain if you really want it to stand out. Open dress shirt, shirtless, tank top, t shirt, sweater, whatever you're wearing, a chain is going to stand out more if you're wearing a plain top. Plus it's going to look cleaner, instead of clashing with a design.

I watched this video a few weeks ago and I just came back here to say thank you! At first I thought silver necklaces, specially chains, doesn't look cool. There was a time, I think it was in the mid 2000s, when wearing silver chain necklaces are so popular (in my country, not sure if that was a global thing lol) that when I saw a dude wearing one, I automatically assume he's a douche lol. It became so popular that almost every guy wanted to wear one (not me though). Fast forward to today, I bought a 2mm silver chain necklace (which I thought was ridiculously thin before I watched this video). I wore it, and wow, what you're saying is true, it does give a kinda sexy, elegant, masculine vibe. I love it. You definitely changed my mind about wearing these kinds of necklace, specially wearing these truly thin necklaces. Good advice and I agree with more than three chains is too much. I think certain styles and looks can be pulled off depending on the wearer. Style is subjective after all. What works for one might not work for the next guy. I don’t like steel chains or gold plated chains. For me 18k yellow gold and at least 40 grams, is the way to go and enhances my style.

If you don't have the money to buy real yellow or white gold, I suggest you guys to look at silver. In my opinion, wearing a vermeil necklace (silver dipped in gold) is better than going for the really cheap ones. I'm always buying new stuffs, and the money isn't flowing enough to buy all I want in plain gold (especially if I'm planning to wear a nice piece just once or twice a year), and this option is really a good way to buy more durable pieces.

Dipped and stainless is fake, in my opinion. 10k gold is unacceptable. 14k, 18k, or 22k is the way, although 22k is for seasoned jewelry wearers, as it can scratch extremely easy. Pre-oxidized sterling silver if you want white metal on a budget. Highly polished sterling looks too gaudy. 950 Platinum still preferred. Palladium is too expensive and doesn’t have the weighty feel like platinum. 100% agreement about the box chain. Can’t go wrong with that, especially if you get rounded links. Miami cubans are timeless, but I prefer Franco’s if planning to wear pendants. Byzantine’s if you are a true player, and for God sake’s, whatever you get, make sure they’re solid links. Not that hollow crap, and get closed designs. None of that spaced out crap just to save money.

I have a 24” 3mm white curb with a 40mm cross. Wanting a shorter chain to go with 25mm prayer hands. I’m thinking just a 20” 4mm curb, or should I go with a 3mm, or possibly a 2mm? What would you do.
