Been looking at range finders for months since I forgot mine at the course and I’m sure someone snagged it because they said they didn’t find it. Been seriously researching the last week or so, I appreciate this video I think it’s made my decision on this one. The gps features and the app itself seem like a huge selling point to me (especially with my history of forgetfulness) and from what I’ve seen precision pro titan shoots well, and I’d love to see how the “front back and center” ranges work. Sorry I have not tested the VC TL1. From what I've seen and read, seems like a good unit. I do like the app connectivity with this precision pro and its been a solid unit so far. I think all the brand name mid/high end rangefinders are going to be pretty good.

If course is cart path only or par 3 tee box is away from cart path, can you leave your phone in the cart and still get front/back/center of green yardages?

I noticed that it may lose connection. I’m not 100% sure on the distance but the phone needs to be close to you. Similar to a Bluetooth speaker.
