I like your videos and I love your style. I'm getting ready to attend the Wave Gotik Treffen this year, my first time there. And there are many things I need to learn or do better. One thing I still lack is black lipstick. I don't trust putting regular lipstick on my lips, I don't want to accidentally ingest even the smallest quantity of synthetic chemicals. But I couldn't find any atoxic, natural, preferably organic ingredients only black lipstick in the makeup shops I went. What do you use, did you buy your own online or in local shops?

Alterra or alverde. Theyre booth german organic brands. The eyeliner bottles r a bit tinyer but theyre cheap for being organic. They sadly arent waterproof tho and after 10 hours r messed up, but other than that theyre great.

NYX discontinued the matte eyeliner in the U.S. 😩 I found a good replacement though, the Cover Girl Perfect Point liquid eyeliner. It’s matte, but not the same kind of brush tip.

PS- I have also used the epic wear liner and I like it a lot. I’m just having a hard time finding eyeliners that are actually matte and don’t bleed. Don’t try the NYX vinyl liner because that stuff was awful. It took forever to dry, it transferred during the day and bled into the cracks in my skin.

It's not only 'made in China" products that are tested on animals. It's any product that is SOLD in China that has to be tested on animals. So even if a product is made in USA or Europe, if the brand wants to sell that product in China, they have to test on animals. And China is such a huge market that many brands who would not wish to test on animals, are kind of forced to, or else give up that whole market of however many billion people.

@@satanswife2546 It *has* been true for many years. Every beauty channel talks about it and it's been well documented if you googled it. But while I was looking up a source to show you, I just discovered that China changed that law in 2021 so it is actually no longer true! That is major good news for animals. So thank you for asking this question instead of just googling it yourself, because I had not heard that they changed their law for imported products sold in China.

@@satanswife2546 Hopefully this mean now a lot more brands can stop animal testing. I believe that items manufactured IN China will still do it, but at least all the other brands imported INTO China won't need to. It's progress. Not all the way there but part way there.
