The Best Cards are 7800XT, 7900GREand 7900XT. The 7900GRE or 7900XT are the sweet spots especially with overclocking. As OC + FSR + Raytracing at 1080p is playable. Maybe 1440p depending on CPU like new 7000/9000 X3D AMD cpus.

I've got the 4080 and xtx and the xtx beats the 4080 in 98% of games. Don't waste your money on the Nvidia card. Xtx 24gb v ram 4080 has only 16. Xtx will last for years after the 4080. Do some research guys the xtx is a better card except in the gimmick ray tracing and fake frames dlss. I play in native 4k I don't use fake frames.

@@kasadam85yes, the G Sync module only gives you a few extra perks but they both essentially do the same thing, doesn’t matter which module or GPU you use, most modern monitors support both. Check Hardware Unboxed they have an insanely detailed video on this

RDR2 hit PC's in 2019, Cyberpunk 2077 in 2020, Forza Horizon 5 in 2021, Horizon Forbidden West March 2024 is the only newer game. Why are we still frame testing PC games that are 4-5 years old? That's not good. This means that the next generation of games won't do so well on the current hardware being released.

He is just testing extremely demanding games. Go and test your fps on the skybox for crysis 3. You’ll definitely dips frames

Is the 4070 super worth 140$Cad more than the 7800XT? It's curently at 830$ vs 690$ both went up in price. Lowest I've seen them is 800$ for 4070 super and 620$ for 7800Xt but i missed out on those deals sadly. I got a whole new build but i need to get the GPU now, the most important. I don't think I can used my 1650 super at 1440p 😅

Hello Valentino, for the new year I will buy a new PC for the new MSFS2024. My old pc have a GTX1080 that is not ideal for the new 27",2k, 180hz MSI monitor. I have not interest in raytracing, the only thing I wish is a stable GPU that can run MSFS at 2k 60 fps and with several other programs running behind and maybe, in the future on a second monitor. Could more VRAM be useful for running two 2k monitors or the 12 mb of a 4070S would be enough? MSFS is different from your loving shooters, test in MSFS should be done in the cockpit of a jet while landing and are almost impossible to find in YT. Even choosing a CPU for MSFS2024 is hard, what we really need as CPU? Have you an opinion about the right CPU? Is it worth a high priced CPU for this sim?

Not enough people talking about how the GPUs are not the issue. The games not being made well is... A major issue. No reason a game LOOKS and PLAYS better 10 years down the line than more recent titles...

If you see a legit and good deal I say go for it , but if you don’t need it right now and can wait there’s no harm in that to see if prices fall further or not. Even if they don’t eventually there will be more deals you can take advantage of. Also you can save more money to increase your budget.

7900xtx and 4080 s is basically the same and sometimes the 7900xtx beats the 4080 s but its just is pure gaming with no raytracing

yes the graphics card performs the same, the monitor refresh rate does not affect gaming performance (fps)

Amd works better with an older cpu. I have both the xtx and 4080 and the xtx get about 10 to 15 fps better than the 4080. I will never buy another Nvidia gpu they are a rip off with gimmicky dlss

Unfortunately you'll have to go with atleast a 4060ti but i would recommend a 4070
