Great reels for the price. Use slx15 L jetski fishing for pelagic caught 400+blue marlin 100+ yellow fin and a few 8ft+ sharks so they do hold their own on big fish but bearing do rust and seize. They do get splashed with lots of sea water. I just buy 2 new reels every 18 months or so.

Been using these for over a year now. I use the 20’s for trolling with 65lb braid and 100lb mono top shot. Caught lots of fish up to 115lbs. I added the 10 for jigging and getting two 50’s for 100lb trolling rigs and short rods from my inflatable. Can’t go wrong with these.

Hi Davey , I’ve had my eye on one of the 10s , I’m trying to decide between it an the Cavalla 5ll . What’s the difference internally. I’ll be using it for black drum, an Red drum, an striped bass? Great videos

@@shannonlocklear8116 Tjabk you for the kind words. The Cavalla is a bit more compact and of course a completely metal reel. The SLX features the dual thrust bearings which is also nice. You really can’t go wrong with either.

Electrical tape works awesome for braid backing.. no slip whatsoever

That was the 15 size. The 10 and 15 share the same diameter but the 15 is a bit wider.
