Wow, that is too much good stuff in just one video. I will need a lot of training sessions to let my body get used to it. I am loving it so much. Big thanks !

Travis. Loved it and wanna learn more about the USA grip system. It's true that there is not such as a system here in the Netherlands. Are the Jimmy Pedro grip DVD's the basics of that system? Always ready to learn a lot more. Regards.

As a right handed fighter your always looking to get the dominant right hand on your opponent’s left lapel to do the traditional OSoto, ouchi, kouchi etc, when it comes to your standing seoi nages I’ve seen you win with, you grip the opponent’s right lapel with your left hand instead, in which scenarios do you go for or change this grip to do this style of seoi nage rather than sticking with traditional right handed grips. What openings angles and postures do you look for etc?
@TravisStevensgrappling4 жыл бұрын
While I do need my right hand on the lapel it is always the second hand that goes on the gi. If I’m looking to do traditional lapel sleeve judo I always start on the sleeve and go to the collar.

Feedback: clip on microphone. This is very hard to watch because of terrible audio. Shouting doesn't improve things... Constant interruptions of the flow because someone said hi are very annoying. That might be appropriate in a studio podcast where you're sitting down and chatting. Not here. Other than that, thanks for some very useful and valuable content, this is what we Judoka need. Thank you. Mark

We tried a clip on mic it doesn’t work the just rubs it and the shuffling around blows out the sound. We found it only works while doing newaza and very slow movements.
