Sounding good! -that’s the search for sure.. I like the smooth feel of chromes and flats but dig the tone of round wound pure nickel or PB better, but there’s the string squeak. Benedetto sets their guitars up with rounds and when Howard demo’s them acoustically there’s all kinds of scree and squeaks! But amplified it’s not that loud. I have to lift my fingers up a touch. Chromes kinda mutes the tone a bit.
