I appreciate the honorable mention of the Zowort. That's my personal favorite after having built and modded several of them. A grunt with a relatively unique and new design language (for Gundam), with full color separation without stickers at a high grade price point and a design that's easy to customize.

Hi my friend! Zowort is absolutely top. I love Armored Core vibe and in fact it was designed by the og AC4 designer - Wataru Inata. So for me design wise this one is more than perfect as well as Pharact. Just love the vibe of AC so much! Zowort and Gundvolva as a grunts are absolutely top in my opinion but I was little tired of Witch kits last year. But still highly recommended.

Agree love Forbidden gundam and love Seed and Destiny those are the models i do almost exclusive gundam seed master grade i hope they make more

Zeta ver.ka was really good. I didn't build the MGSD Barbatos yet. But the MGSD Freedom is probably my top pick.

Hi my friend! I missed both MGSD unfortunately when they released. HLJ was out of preorders so I need to find one locally when they will arrive. I love Super Robot Wars chibi vibes, was playing hell out of this games back in the day so both are on my list.

Solid top. Zeta Ver Ka was one of highlights in 2023. From WFM really liked Demi Barding and Michaelis for its knight like looks. Still Schwarzette and Calibarn one of the bests HG kits for sure. Need to check out build divers kits.

Michaelis was the only one I’ve missed unfortunately. Really top design but not in my collection - so can’t talk about it much. But gosh. Lovely design!

Nice list, I just returned to the hobby in november and there are a lot of new kits for me to choose. Already got some Witch From Mercury kits even if I haven't seen the series. Calibarn, Aerial and Schwarzette look pretty solid and also got the PBandai Engage Zero, hope they are all good.

Hello my friend and thank you for your comment! Calibarn is truly top notch for a HG. Love it. It was for sure my fav HG of 2023. Great gimmicks on board. Aerial HG is ok but nothing fancy for me personally. I honestly prefer the FM. Schwarzette is also very cool. You will have great time with all of them :)

Found your channel at the end of 2023 with your Epyon review. I very much enjoyed the Zeta Ver Ka as well with it coming from one of my favourite Gundam shows. Your posing looks so fantastic, it's making me consider getting a Forbidden Gundam. If you had it, what's the ID on the track from 8:50 onwards? And your BGM in general.

Build is not complicated or overall exciting like MGs but still very solid one. And the look? I mean you can't beat it! I don't have the track IDs unfortunately :(

Hello my friend! Two Ver.kas in one year is a good one but I really hope that we will get at least 2-3 regular Master Grades this year. If not... Pbandai is only hope :(. If you just started your journey you are lucky. You have so much good choices from the MGs catalogue. Also do not be afraid of some older MGs :)

(I won't be surprised if it re-uses old MG Unicorn or MG Nu runners) June = MG Sinanju Stein (Narrative Ver) Ver. Ka is just an old kit, but now with new sleeves. That's first half of 2024 right there. Pray there's going to be something new in the 2nd half and some re-cast of another old kit.

Gundam Schwarzette's head design is superb. It would be a dream if it gets an RG kit but I highly doubt it.

Head reminds me some cool Samurai vibes. Love this thing! I love the legs too. Hoof rocks! And with all mechanical details of the Real Grade this one would be over the top crazy good.

Nice list. I got too many favorites this year. I've only done a couple MGs but I'm all about HGs. You should be excited for this year with all the SEED stuff coming. Plus I'm pretty sure they're gonna re-issue some older ones too.

Yes this year will be a good one I hope. I just started PG Strike Freedom and hope to see some good Seed releases and re-releases this year. So I’m excited to see what they prepared for us. Sinanju Stain Narrative Ver.ka is also high on my list.

@@der76216yes, he is next in line after PG. MGex is probably the ultimate version of Strike Freedom so I want to keep progression of model development as this is very important Mobile Suit for me. I wanted PG for years so I was little afraid that after MGex I will not feel the magic of it.

MGex probably will be the ultimate display piece thanks to effect parts I have etc. I’m looking for some 3rd party/3d print wings effect parts for Perfect Grade. That would be over the top. Unfortunately PG SF is not entirely perfect - need to do research if some things are just in my copy - but there are some painting mistakes of inner frame for example. Small details and it can be repainted later but still - such thing should not occur in this grade for that cash. But it’s maybe just my bad luck with this copy and manufacturing mistake. Still the outcome will be probably 10/10 in terms of presence anyway.

Haven't had any issues with the Epyon, though I'll happily admit the wings are more limited than they should be. This was a year where I got other kits like the PG Mk II, PGU, MGEX Strike Freedom and various older MG's (EW Wing Zero, RX-78-2 2.0, Providence), so besides the Epyon I only got the FM Aerial which is interesting. Rather than the VerKa Zeta I got a reprint RG Zeta which is surprisingly good compared to its reputation - Besides, I'm plenty happy with my 2.0. So if anyone feels disappointed with the releases you can always go back and get some great kits from other years :)

Yeah catalogue is almost infinite so no problem with that. Still - to keep the fire Bandai as a company need to provide new things for customers etc. WFM was probably the reason why they focused on HGs mostly and wanted to sell them as much as they could. There was demand and hype for quite some time. I mean I really hope they will be back on track and we'll see some fantastic releases this year. It is a time for new Perfect Grade!

Hi my friend! Yes... I was scratching my head and asking myself why they wasted potential of such a great weapon. Detailed version with some extra layers... Just imagine that. 2.0 wins in this terms but the ver.ka itself is so good that 2.0 is not in existence for me anymore🤣. Still it will be good base for some custom work and experiments.

Schwarzette is highly overstimated Imo. Wasted potential not only in anime but as a gunpla also - it should me more like Gundam X style or even Rose and would be better. Now we got smth goat-baphomet-like crap xd and about your personal GOAT - fully agree! :D only one who could compete with Zeta imo is PBandai Eclipse R2 :)

R2 is a beast! Love both Eclipses but R2 is just perfect design for me. They both remind me of Tekkaman Blade and Evil. Good memories. If it comes to Schwarzette I hope that we will see 1/100 as it needs bigger and more detailed scale. But yeah. Wasted potential in anime. I was waiting for it so much for some really over the top fights. If it comes to gunpla and design overall - personal preference as always :) Now I hope Bandai will prepare PGU of Zeta for us. My wet dream :))

Im building the zeta and painting it. The build process sucks and is not fun whatsoever especially the arms and body to head. Dont get the praise for this im sorry. Good kit tho finished probably im doing legs now

Ive built about 30 or so MGs last mg before the zeta was mg strike freedom extreme. I usually sand my parts and paint. Panel line . The MGEX i just straight built not very confident with the gold + expensive. I really like the zeta just the build process itself was very miserable for me so far. Was a huge fan of eclipse
