Good video. I have one of the first round deliveries, 5". Love the gun!!!!! I work as a gunsmith and looked at many of the common best practices to tune the Prodigy and have had absolute success. Polish the feed lips on the magazines, adjust to a traditional 5" guide rod and swapped for a 10 lb spring...absolutely flawless. You're right...best in 2022!

My buddy has a prodigy, he’s actually the reason I got mine after I shot his I needed one… but his dad got a staccato and he said the same thing Prodigy for the win 🏆

Have around 3000 rounds now through mine 4.25 also not one malfunction. I've seen guys complain about everything about this gun I love this gun my trigger weight is 2lb 1oz 1lb 14oz. Average 5 pulls. Anyway liked video.

Thank you for the awesome feedback! Ya see in this industry we see a lot of “repeats” where people who never even fired one have based their opinions on their favorite content creator. It’s like that on every gun I don’t get why people feel compelled to write reviews on firearms they don’t own nor have shot but it happens a lot. Was their issues on the first batch yes, was those issues sent to major content creators yes, but those were demos, if that contact creator didn’t buy the gun more then likely they not going to make a follow up video for at least a year. Then suddenly the “b” group of content creators make videos showing they running fine Springfield fixed those first batch issues and you should really get one as they are awesome, those same people don’t want to believe the “B” group content creators they just want to believe the top guys. Add that in from those that also bought the first batch and yeah it was a disappointing launch. But 2 months later they fixed them and it’s a dam good gun! So sadly Springfield learned a hard lesson don’t push your product out to all the top creators unless your firearm is running perfectly… if not you’ll have a hard up hill climb to prove it’s a great gun. So thanks for helping show others that this gun is awesome! 👏👏👏

Their is no comparison the Springfield prodigy is in a different league over the S&W metal. I don’t even think the 2.0 Metal Competition can keep up with it lol. I feel it’s faster then my CZ TSO.

Yes it’s officially my favorite more then shadow systems, Glocks, even my beloved TSO. Honestly and sadly it’s the gun I’ve been shooting none stop now.
