Ha! I love that this bag was “small” to you. The size was dictated by gravel drop bars , and 8.5” is the happy zone on 42 cm bars. I wish that Silca pump fit! We use Topeak pumps and they fit with no issue, but I can see how an extra 2” probably would have done it for you. - little back story - the phone holster was something we came up with for our initial bar bag in 2016 and we had those pockets on both sides. But my main gripe with that bag was accessing the contents through the small top zipper, and that’s why we redesigned the bag and made the wraparound zipper. Anyway, thanks for checking it out! Happy trails ✌🏼

Which pump specifically?? 👀

Not sure why so many bag companies insist on using black for the interiors. The orange interior of the Lead Out bar bag makes finding stuff that much easier to see especially when the bag is full.

Have been looking for a new smaller handlebar bag and this seems to have all the things on my list. The added zipper length/bigger opening is the real winner for me.
@JakeLuke308 Жыл бұрын
Russ, you could strap the mini pump up top on the webbing by the zipper.

Phone holster is pretty cool. I would use it for a battery pack since I normally keep my phone on a quadlock mount.

I've been using the original version of this bag for years. I've tried others, but always come back to this one. The side pockets are amazing, and the whole thing just works great. I use the side pockets on every ride for trash, and I used it once when I had a mechanical on a long ride and had to abort my route and find the shortest way home, so I used Google maps with voice navigation, put the volume up at max and put the phone in the side pocket upside down (speakers side up) and listened to the directions to get me back to my start, worked perfectly! This new version with the extra pockets and two mounting width options looks great (I can't use the old bag when using my aero bars, the mounting location interferes).

As someone who has worked in the industry for over a decade and have seen so many bag/accessory companys come and go. ORnot is really solid quality for the price. You could easily slap a Rapha logo on this bag, throw a $150 tag on it and no one would bat an eye.

I have one and so far after looking and trying a whole bunch of handlebar bags, this works the best. You can get computers and lights to work around it and that's a big deal for me. Also fits my camera (Olympus OMD-EM5 w/12-45mm f/2.8 or F4 12-100 lens) in there where it can be removed and actually used.

I have the original version of their bar bag, and that phone retention system has worked flawlessly for thousands of miles over all types of terrain. The added features here seem genuinely useful.

I don’t have a handlebar bag yet and this looks to be a great option - just ordered one. Nice that they only charge a reasonable $7 for USPS first class shipping.

Nice bag and the phone holster is a nice design. I think the size is reasonable but not too large to sag and need additional support. The stash pockets are well designed and appear to be the same material used on many backpacks today, that material holds up pretty well if you don’t snag it. I would say if you have to use the stash pockets on the daily you need a bigger bag, more for quick access occasional use like snacks or trash.

I like the zipper, phone storage and especially the straps. I bought a TOPO triangle shaped bag awhile back and the hook and look straps seemed an after thought. Actually I felt cheated The head tube/ stem strap is long gone. I really like your idea for a mini pump holder or sleeve on the bottom of the bag. That would be so thoughtful. As an old rider the cost of things has gotten wild. I used a drop bar bag with a thin liner for support for many years. Nothing special but it held everything I could wad attacked with nylon clam down straps. Super simple and easy. I wish I could remember the brand.

Well designed bag. Those are pretty great looking bars as well. Who makes your bars/model?

It reminds me of the Signature Bar Bag from Almsthre in San Diego. Similar issues with not fitting the pump. It's a good little bag to stuff a layer into, and get into the ball park with for a night game, but it hasn't had the utility of a regular rando bag. If a bag can't a burrito inside, I get concerned

That looks like a neat bag. What I would like to see is a strip of webbing along the front that you clip a small LED light to. Some reflective details wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Lash the pump to the webbing on the top. Problem solved. That would make a nice city bike bag to toss odd and end into.

It would interfere with the phone. Also a little janky. Would be better if it mounted lower.
If the construction is solid and materials hold up reasonably well it really doesn't seem like a bad price. Seems to have very usable features that would fit the needs of many people.

I just don't know what I would trust to stay in that front sleeve. Maybe it's fine, I would just worry especially on rough roads, that things would fall out. I like the phone holster. I might sew something like that onto one of my bags.

I was loving everything about this bag.:.even the large size lol. Frankly, I was thinking I’d love to see the medium size for my bike. But then you said the price 😮. Totally lost me, so disappointing that so many small manufacturers charge so much. I get their a small business but it feels out of step with what biking should be: accessible to all.

For those would want to know about this handlebar bag being waterproof, it is NOT WATERPROOF !. A representative of the company sent my an email about my inquiry if it is being waterproof. He, Ben, stated, "The fabric itself is water resistant, but the construction is not." Be informed, if you will. For me, living in the Pacific Northwest, I will not being buying this bag.
