You’re the only one in a Grom bar install video that drills. Everyone else uses tape and no drilling. Drill is more secure. Thanks for the tip with the guide hole tape.

The stock bars came with a little metal riser, did you take them off when you put your last bars on? I left mine on and it doesn’t make my bars lower, if anything they are higher or about same as OEMs

hey I love the new set up bro! I'm glad your back on a grom! I'm looking to swap my bars out on my grom if I went with the klx110 bars I can still use my stock switch on the clutch side right? I already use an RSC now.

You can use the stock switch but I just like the smaller switch

Left it. I needed all the bars I could get to mount a left side control, clutch lever and handbrake lever

The grips will need some sticking, I had protaper grips on my mx renthal bars and the left grip came straight off with rough riding

I see you've done both the Honda Mini and KLX bars. Is either one of them easier to put in and turn the key compared to the other? Is one higher overall than the other?

I haven’t really put them side by side and judged them like that. But in my opinion they are pretty much the same bars but the klx bars are wider and honestly I highly prefer the klx 110 bars. Would recommend going to a cycle gear or something and trying out some bars if you are not sure

I’m having a lot of trouble with the clutch cable, I tried routing it so many different ways but idk what’s wrong. Any suggestions?

Comes out of clutch case, up normally until it gets to handlebars, route it through/over your handlebars and to the clutch lever. Anymore issues just message me on Instagram and I’ll try to help

Do you have an idea from which bike the clutch cable could still fit? The original is a bit too short. If I go to the TÜV (Technical Inspection Agency) with the short cable, I will not pass the test.

No, oem will work fine. Just hard to fit it all on there if you run a handbrake as well

Your controls have a piece that sticks out into a hole on the bars which keep them from spinning around. You could Dremel of the piece on the controls, but then they would just spin freely

Throttle cables no, clutch cable yes… The throttle cables gave me zero issues and the clutch cable does reach but if you run it without going into the headlight assembly then you can increase the slack in the cable, and on my bike it made the cable easier to pull as it was being pinched in the headlight assembly

Yes, but if you want to get one... type in motorcycle switch left and it’s on the first page. It’s $16 though. If you are willing to wait then just get it off eBay for $7... eBay type in, push button horn beam winked turn switch
