This kid going to the league. I can see it. Handling, he can shoot it lights out. He's athletic as well. Seems like he has all the tools offensively. If he's a two way player, this young man has NBA All-Star potential. Keep working young man! 💯

Couldn't of said it better myself. He has a real maturity in how he plays, very poised and relaxed and like you said effortless, he makes it look so easy. I will be watching him.

Saw him when he played for Donda at a tourney early 2022... he's "slippery"! A lot of kids are going the shooting 3's "skill" route. That's great but natural athleticism is still an unteachable/uncoachable thing. Like speed in football. Rob's an athlete

Him, DJ Wagner, and Justin Edwards will be the best trio in the country next year. And Coach Cal will have an opportunity to get back to the top with this roster coming in next season. Dillingham reminds me of a Jamal Crawford/Allen Iverson hybrid. Dude is a baller. Definitely going to the league after 1 season at Kentucky.

So here is my thoughts based off highlights here. Definitely can shoot off the dribble, I'd like to see a whole game to see how he is off the CATCH because at the next level he will come off a screen as a guard and that's important. The mechanics is what I'd look for but so far his shot looks good. 2. Really like how he plays with CHANGE OF SPEED honestly I think ppl are mistaking the 2 things. I'd rather my guard learn change of speed because the fact is no coach is going to want you dribbling the ball to death. Ppl talk about KYRIE handles but his CAHNGE OF SPEED is what sets everything up. 3. The second clip when he did that 2 dribble mid range pull up was special and a lost art among young kids. That is what will get you far in this game as a guard. I also seen him do same move off the screen from 3 which was impressive because 1 more dribble allows the defender to catch up and contest I think this kid has a real shot at tye league if he is coached up at UK. He will need to add a bit if muscle but not get bulked up incorrectly. I'd also like to see him on the defensive end but these mixtapes the people that put them together fail to show that part which is stupid. You have to guard. They should include that. I'll be watching to see if CAL can actually help his development

"a real shot at tye league if he is coached up at UK"??? First of all, he is a lead pipe cinch for the league unless he injures himself or gets into off-court trouble. How long he stays there will depend on work habits, but he will get there. Second, nobody goes to UK to get coached up anymore. Calipari hasn't even tried to run a modern offense in years. They go to spend a year in an NBA training program where they will practice daily with other future pros.
@TheBaller3213 Жыл бұрын
@@abebagota1916 ok if you count just getting drafted then you got me but If it's a MARCUS TEAGUE deal then it's whatever. He needs to be coached up by the assistants in particular CHIN COLEMAN who took AYO DOSSUMO from a solid player college player to a BONAFIDE NBA PLAYER because of his skill. Remember can DILLINGHAM play with WAGNER and Co or will he get lost in the shuffle like KHALIL WHITLEY who couldn't mentally adjust to NOT BEING THE GUY and he may have been the most physically gifted guy on that roster especially of the incoming freshman that yr. Basketball Is 90% mental and that's what I mean by COACHED UP lot of moving parts in that word. Devin Booker is a prime example because of POLITICS he played behind those BUM HARRISON TWINS when everyone knew he was better thats being COACHED UP.

As good as his handles are he travels sooooo much simply because hes constantly moving his pivot foot. The players may be more skilled on the perimiter but the games so watered down. If you dont believe me, rewatch and watch his pivot foot every yime hes about to put the ball down. Also. If he just learned a proper triple threat these moves could be even deadlier but triple threat is a lost art since its all about points
