Side note if you have Ruan Mei then he's a mandatory pairing with her because their synergy double dib into each other and give a HUGE damage boost to your break comp.

I will use him with xueyi. I have cracked xueyi with 70/150 crit and 70 BE with no LC yet. If I give her Misha Lc, she will reach 120+ BE. Only problem is her survivability. She takes one good shot and she is near red and I have no good sustains. Gallagher is his best partner, however he is healer and I want a preservation 😭

The super break's dmg scales from your character's break effect and also your break efficiency. Ruan Mei will increase the super break dmg and a couple of characters that have bounce skills like Asta, Sampo, etc will increase their super break dng

No need to 2 piece. meteor 1 bonus increases BE by 16% with the Second increasing by more 16% with the added effect of some energy regen. If you Double piece you are Just losing on the energy for no reason since the 1 bonus of watch makers is Just flat 16%

Well, actually, Super Break does not scale from character's amount of Break Effect. The only thing which influences Super Break is how much damage the character deals to enemy's Toughness bar. Otherwise how Gallagher deals ~20k damage from his usual attack and than (with the same stats and in the same battle) deals ~60k from his enhanced attack? It's such a pity... Ruan Mei even with 300% of BE can't deal more than ~20k damage with usual attack...

Akshually, it scales off both Break effect AND toughness reduction The Super Break Formula is: Lvl Multiplier * (Toughness DMG / 30) * (1 + Break Effect) * (1+ Trailblazer's A2 bonus) * DEF Multi * Res Multi * Vuln Multi * Broken Mult Also who has a 300% BE ruan mei? You only need 160% BE to get the most out of her

You normally want to use ruan mei because of her dmg boost and since the dmg boost caps at 180 BE and she gives 20 BE for free to everyone including herself during all the battle, you normally get 160 BE and then go for speed, a 300 BE ruan mei would be extremely slow and probably without an energy regeneration rope

@@NattsXD I have her at about 270 break effect but she still has decent speed about 130 (quite slow but decent) besides you'd want her skill to last longer so by being slower than the dps the DPS could get in a few more hits before Ruan Mei's skill run out. Of course the stats could be better if I had better substats because most of mine are hp , def and effect hit rate....(send help) anyway I'm not saying energy regeneration is not important I was hoping to defeat the enemy before her ultimate runs out lol. But you did have a good point a energy regeneration Ruan Mei can be much more comfy to use.

she is currently in beta test, her kit is extreme at the moment needing 360% BE and 4k atk to maximize traces so with the piled up complaints from testers, she will get a rework similar to boothill soon so we can't say for sure how much synergy she have for hmc yet

you can use it at c6, but we can only get up to e5 this patch. but it's really since if the ult is not up you wont be super breaking and that important.

Don't use Keel or Fleet w/ HMC unless they're the only pieces you have that work. It would only marginally benefit Boothill/Firefly respectively, and even then Talia/Vonwaq/Penacony/even the new one for FF/Gallagher (assuming you play into that team, otherwise it's just 6% SPD) do better.

I have so many watchmaker pieces but reaching that 145 speed is really giving me some hard time. I get one piece with speed and everything goes in flat def or effect hit. So many pieces got wasted. Getting that 15 speed is giving some hard time. Else 130 is easy, u give speed boots to him and boom he is 130

Broken keel isn't really that good on HMC because you want to use them with characters with a lot of break effect not crit + if someone in your team (like ruan mei) already has the watchmaker's set, you want either 2pc 2pc break effect or 4pc the other break effect set (idr the name)

@@shinigami1176 No, because Break Effect =/= Break Efficiency Break Effect is the dmg when you destroy the enemies toughness. While the Break efficiency is the dmg on the shield toughness, the white bar above the hp of enemies Ruan Mei is based on her passive. Passive that gives extra speed and and gives allies an extra break dmg based on Ruan Mei's break effect. Note that extra Break Effect dmg is Ruan Mei's break dmg While Trailblazer's Ultimate gives all allies additional break effect stats. If the enemies are broken and you attack that specific target, everyone will have the super break effect dmg based on their "own" break effect and their toughness efficiency. Pairing them will enhanced their allies' and their super break dmg because of Ruan mei's skill, which increases the toughness efficiency, the number you break the enemies shield. The calculation of the super break would be: Your character's break effect + their toughness dmg

R u using atk% rope or BE on xueyi. I need some good advice I have 70/130 crit xueyi with 70 BE. I do not gave her any rope yet. Should I go with BE rope or atk% rope ? Also I am using Quantum dmg orb instead of atk% orb cause it has 11% crit rate & 12% BE in subs. Should I change my orb too? Also I didn't gave her any Lc yet, might give her misha lc if I pull one.
