You need a clutch kit and ecu tune on that Sportsman she'd really be fun then. Glad to see you out having fun even without a sled.

It's actually got and EPI clutch kit in it. An ECU flash would be interesting but I never even put it in performance mode haha. Thanks man, it felt really really good to be out!

I just put a gates g force on my sportsman 500, went by the Gates break in video, and it still tries to pull at idle, and overall is nothing short of a dumpster fire

Is that trail a joint trail for ATVs/UTVs & Sleds??
@SwankyCatProductions Жыл бұрын
90% of the trails in 4 or 5 of the counties around here open to quads 10 days after they open to sleds. As long as the air temp is below 28 degrees F.

How long did you run the stock belt ?
@SwankyCatProductions Жыл бұрын
No idea, I bought the quad with 2,000 miles and I believe the belt was replaced when the previous owner put a clutch kit on.

Have you had any issues with the 1000s? I'm in between buying the S or the non-S xp 1000. Cool video and new sub here!

Thanks! My starter doesn't like to engage once in awhile, which I've heard isn't all that uncommon. There's no physical ground strap on it, it just relies on the fasteners that hold it to the engine to complete the circuit. Adding a physical wire will reportedly fix this issue but I haven't tried it yet. Other than that, no issues yet!

Sledding is never economical and so far its the most expensive power sports hobby I do. Fishing costs a lot more than sledding does. If you dont have a sled all your going to do is shovel snow and remember the good ole days when you use to go rip on a sled for a few hours instead of just shoveling snow. As far as belts go. I use to use only BRP belts but I ran into a company that only builds belts for power sports and nothing else. Ultimax belts is the name. I just put one on my sled but have not had enough time to test it. I like getting stuff from a company that just builds one product as they get very good at producing it. By the way. The sled is not for us its for you. Just go work harder and go make some extra money.

Very true, I should just buy what I want and as long as I'm having fun that's all that should matter. Should make for good videos that way too!
