As a child of the 80's Judas Priest had a lot of influence in my life. They are true metal gods. So now you understand why us metal heads headbang and play air guitar. As you said it is like a spirit entered into your body. That is hitting it on the head. I really enjoyed this reaction. Rock on!!

Its funny to think that when I first heard painkiller back in 91 , it was nothing really special as my brother and I were listening to black, death, thrash. Now as the years go by you realise how special this track is, whilst a lot of what you listened to has faded into the mists of the past.

How do you figure that? Priest was formed in 1969 released their 1st album in 1974 , Maiden formed in 1975 and released their first in 1980 . Metallic formed 1981 released their 1st in 1983 and Megadeth formed 1983 and released their 1st 1984/85.
