Author here. Thanks for narrating my story! Hope everybody enjoys. My stories are one shots that pop into my head screaming to be released. This one appeared somewhere around 1:00 AM. Lots of people ask for series but it just doesn’t ever seem to work. The follow ups never seem to appear and the few times I’ve tried, they stubbornly refuse to cooperate. Enjoy it for what it is.

@Senok139 ай бұрын
Well, i am not too familiar with Stellaris, but has some experience with the Civilization and Imperium Galactica series. I usually end up supporting several empire financially - on the level, that if they would stop trading with me, their empire got such a massive income lost, that it would crumble within 10~15 rounds -, and still has enough resources, if i got attacked by a third party, buy a whole armada of the most, or near most advanced units. (Last time i had a Civ V. game, where my enemies barely reached the ability of making World War Infantries, when i created my first Giant Death Robot. And i already was a menace to any antagonistic nations with barely four Stealth Bomber...) In IG II i mostly go for spies and Diplomacy, so i end up myself in the situation of the friendly aliens, where my allies wipe off my enemies of the map...

hmm , do this fall into ''humans are op'' category ? i think the tech discrepancy would suggest that on the other hand if gaia's gravity on a 'death worlds' only scale is 12 compared to how a 3 is seen as ''this is pant crapping time'' it might be a bit more towards the lovely ''noble savages'' spectrum as the metallurgy capabilities alone comparing the materials one can forge in 1g vs 0.3g , would make up for some serious differences in both what the biology of creatures in such environments could handle and what sciences the easy access materials in such a place allow the development of

@@lupaswolfshead9971 yes yes i know , but also for such a classification system to be functional it would have to take into account that gravity like so much else when compared between biology is labled in subjective 'terms' so you have death worlds where the gravity be the 'major' thing like a super planet that anchors a whole solar system on its own with 50-100G but otherwise no dangers declaring it a death world , and death worlds where the gravity be like a side note as bog standard average yet for example hyper aggressive eco system and volatile climate chemistry

Fortunately for the idiot in front of me, whose life with the stroke of a pen I could make hell, a secretary got up from a nearby room and explained to the idiot just what would happen to him should he manage to actually piss me off. The idiot apologized and I didn't send him straight to a federal jail for a rather uncomfortable lesson in why pissing off someone in power who is inclined to help is not a good idea. Another edgelord story. As in many similar ones, there is a lot of unnecessary cruelty, unthought-out details, minor characters that behave too stupidly like for real adults in order to get a story where unrealistically good humanity saves everyone by miraculously turning out to be the coolest of all (Mary Sue). There are no clever ideas, no interesting alien cultures or serious confrontation. This is just material for f@p on humanity.
