The Warrior Song - Hard Corps (Prelude Chant) (The eagle born to those who pledged their lives and sacred honor was smiled upon by God and freed from chains and iron collar. He is held aloft on unity and by history revered; for preserving peace through strength his wings now reach across two hundred years. But for each of those and one year more, God has smiled upon The Corps, from the Barbary Coast to the Eastern Sand, by sword, by gun, or by bare hand. So it's been, and shall be weighed: though many are born, few are "made". Faithful Always, they shall remain, dogs to loose when war is waged.) I am a Marine on the beach, I'm a killin' machine, with a need to bleed you when the light goes green, best believe, I'm in a zone to be, from my Yin to my Yang to the Yantze Put a grin on my chin, come to me, ‘cuz I'll win, I'm one-of-a-kind and I'll bring death to the place you're about to be: another river of blood runnin' under my feet. Forged in a fire lit long ago, stand next to me, you'll never stand alone. I'm last to leave, but the first to go, Hard Corps is the only way I know. I feed on the fear of the devil inside of the enemy faces in my sights: aim with the hand, shoot with the mind, kill with a heart like arctic ice. I am a Devil-Dog I'm marching on, I am a Devil-Dog I'm marching on, I am a warrior and this is my song I am a warrior and this is my song I bask in the glow of the rising war, lay waste to the ground of an enemy shore, wade through the blood spilled on the floor, and if another one stands I'll kill some more. Bullet in the breech and a fire in me, like a cigarette thrown to gasoline, if death don't bring you fear then death ain't brought by no Marine. Come to the nightmare, come to me, deep down in the dark where the devil be, in the maw with the jaws and the razor teeth, where the brimstone burns and the angel weeps. Call to the gods if I cross your path and my silhouette hangs like a body bag; hope is a moment now long past, the shadow of death is the one I cast. I am a Devil-Dog I'm marching on, I am a warrior and this is my song Hell has no demon I won't overcome, I am a warrior and this is my song Now I live lean and I mean to inflict the grief, and the least of me's still out of your reach. The killing machine's gonna do the deed, until the river runs dry and my last breath leaves. Chin in the air with a head held high, I'll stand in the path of the enemy line. Feel no fear, know my pride: for God and Country I'll end your life. I am a Devil-Dog, I'm marching on, I am a warrior and this is my song Hell has no demon I won't overcome, I am a warrior and this is my song I made the devil himself turn and run, I am a warrior and this is my song In to the fire i will march it on Oorah Marine Corp Get Some!

Nice story. But no way would they do that 'Last Stand' cocktail. All that at once in your system would blow your heart near instantly.
@krevor4095Ай бұрын
Part of the cocktail is to prevent/delay those negative effects. At least for a time.
@davidtherwhanger6795Ай бұрын
@@krevor4095 Which part? And don't you know preventing or delaying the negative effects means you are delaying the effects period? The negative effect is your heart pumping way to hard and fast and you can't feel the pain from it to stop yourself.
@krevor4095Ай бұрын
@@davidtherwhanger6795 The Marine knew this. It's part of the "lethal" nature of the Final Stand Protocol. He knew activating it was a death sentence, but to affect the rescue of the children, he still activated it. Delaying the NEGATIVE affects allowed him to do that. Wouldn't be very smart if the first thing that happens is that you die before you can do anything.
@Nempo13Ай бұрын
@@davidtherwhanger6795 They already HAVE something akin to this mate. A non-lethal concoction was found being used by the French in one Olympics and the Russians in another one. A version that is stronger but also lethal is also known to militaries and has been given to spec ops of multiple countries through the years. It basically eliminates all of your pain and gives you enough adrenaline to get you moving again. But you will absolutely tear yourself apart as pain is part of the limiters on human strength so our muscles don't break our own bones and organs. What you are describing is when the concoction has things like too much adrenaline. The primary point is the pain killer/blocker aspect and burst of energy. The description of the itchy skin leads me to believe it was multiple injections across the body as the most effective way is for the armor to inject the arms and legs independently with things needed for the muscles while the torso gets the pain blocker and adrenalin.
@davidtherwhanger6795Ай бұрын
@@Nempo13 The difference here is you are talking non-lethal doses of this. When the story explicitly stated lethal doses. Lethal doses of multiple different performance enhancers not just one or two at non-lethal doses combined with a lethal amount of nitrous oxide.

Underline and embolden the word "Temporary". I was merely implying that when US Marines are given the choice between stuns and frag grenades they're going to pick frag grenades 99% of the time. I love those guys I was just merely poking fun.
