I'd say it's all the shit around the combat that really fucking sucks, sand bagin, ditch digin, hurrying up to wait, sweating your ass off fo no reason, hoping the enemy attacks just so that you have something to do, getting rocketed and mortared with no ability to fire back cause their might be civilian casualties, fighting with both hands tied behind your back because the brass cares more about furthering their own careers then actually winning.
