Best Hi-Fi Speaker for your Computer/Workstation - Polk ES10 vs Klipsch R-40M vs Dali Spektor 1

Oh cool video man. Yeah I'm using the Polk S20's right now for my work station and I just love them. What's great about them is that they still have a high fi sound at low volumes which is usually the case with me. I'm also using a 10" sub and the Yamaha RS202 for an amp. This set up is also great for recording and movies on my PC

I am also putting together a 2.1 desktop system. I was hoping the Polk ES10 would be good. I love the look and size!

And now you switched to theklipsch tower speakers and then you will switch to the live concert speakers and then after someone will lock you up to a klinic your brains might recover a little bit so tha you will be able to realize and stop all this bs.

How did you power these at your desktop? Why didn't you go active?

I had active speakers before and as they have circuitry inside it, the sound isn't as great as passive ones. Passive speakers have just the box and the speakers, that's it.

@assessandreview Okay, what amplifier do you use. You should talk about that as well since the amplier plays a critical part in the sound that comes out of the speakers. I'm trying to weigh the options between passive and active but so far, all I've seen within my budget are those Chinese amplifiers which the reviews are mixed.

I like punchy bass which one does the best in these three please tell?

If you really like punchy bass then speakers of this size will not be great. You will have to go with slightly larger sizes. These are good for near-field listening for desktop. Or, you can go with Klipsch or Dali and add a sub.

Not all of them are trash, the Reference line is!!RP and a RF lines consist of great speakers. R line is underwhelming though
