My fiance and I did Hawksbill Crag a couple weeks ago and it was awesome! We're not in the best shape so it was definitely challenging, especially in the 95° heat. However, exercise was our main focus so we were happy with the workout we got. The majority is in the woods but when you do get close to Whitaker's Point (I think that's what it's called) the view was absolutely stunning. I took so many pictures, especially on the cliff like the thumbnail for this video. All my friends and family back in Ohio were blown away with our photos. The only bad thing about the trip was driving there. It took 30 minutes to do the last 8 miles and thank God I have an SUV with big tires and AWD. I definitely would recommend taking a vehicle that is off-road worthy because the road to get there is very rough and sketchy. I knew my vehicle could make it but I was worried about getting a punctured tire with all the sharp rocks on the road, plus you don't get any phone reception either. Next time we will be taking my fiance's Wrangler.

Yes! That makes a lot of sense. It can be a beefy workout but it is worth it at the end!!

As a realtor can you speak on the safety of NWA? I really want to move there to be closer to nature but am concerned about crime/safety. Some stats online look really great & safe, but some crime data numbers look double the national average. Asheville NC crime looks high too. :(

Yeah - there is very little crime here - if there was really an issue the waltons, tysons, hunts, or university would make sure it goes away. They have way too much invested interest for that to get out of hand.
