Why are western end english riding put together? why is english not divided into different disciplines?? Why are only 2 breeds listed for this two categories?? For example where I am from no one uses a Paint or Morgan horse for english riding and no one has a Morgan for western riding. They use Quarterhorses which are much better suited for western. Why is there a category which is called "equestrian sports"? Is english,- and western riding not a sport?? Where is the category Working Equitation? Please do better research.

From an evolutionary point of view, many horses you see today came from Arabian horses. Moreover, each horse breed has evolved according to its use and access, so there are no distorted horses, just another breed with different capabilities.
