I finally beat him!! After 12hrs of trying 😭😭 I swear this one was the hardest boss!! I also just stood by his feet the whole time, and dodge as much as I could and just kept hitting him.

when he summon the vbig sand worm, i found it easier to just sprint to the side and dodge when its about to hit. save precious mana and less worry about his next attack

I actually thought this boss was easy, especially with cloud step and mana buffs. My own tip: make sure you clear out all of level 2 and its bosses/secrets. You will have more than enough resources to murk this fool.

good guide but I would make one change: use the wind tamer and pluck of many AFTER the sage goes into the second phase. if you use these right off the bat you it limits the amount of damage you can get him - he is triggered into the second phase after a certain amount of damage at which point he transforms and kills all your duplicates. during the second phase there is no next phase trigger so your duplicates will be used to the full extent.

I looked up this guide and decided to sleep on it. All the wait, leveling up and respeccing had my nerves going bananas. The anticipation was immense. Wind Tamer btw is a Awesome stance breaker or Aerial enemy dropper tool too. It can buy you time and break enemies defenses. Its not a One use item which is Badass man

Don’t go anywhere near him without the windtamer if ur an avg gamer like me . And always remember the second phase is where u need to survive the first and 3rd phase is really easy . In the second phase after his aerial attacks wait fr him to do the roll or kick immediately . Avoid the kick by any cast . Use thrust stance and always have 3 stamina fr ur heavy attacks . If ur lucky u cn use windtamer twice which makes the boss fight lot easier

Wind tamer is a must. I spend 2 hours trying to beat this dude without it and with wind tamer, i got it on 2nd tried. Somehow wind tamer reduce it's defense for a brief moment.

I was struggling with this. Was using thrust build with as much mana as I could get. I finally beat him by saving all CD's to the end. Once you get him to 50-55% start using a few. Once you get him to 30% pop everything. The stun lasts long enough to take him down to zero with Snakes and Minions alone. My minions only had 1 point in them for damage, my snakes are 4/6 upgraded.

Hey man 👍 there is no 2nd spirit slot though. You get 1 spirit and the other thing that may be confusing is a transformation you can use. Hope that helps

I see I went into this boss waaaay too soon. It felt like I was beating my head off of glass for hours until I dropped the game for a few days then decided to go back and beat all of the side bosses. Won on third try so will add my own advice here: save wind tamer for when he is about to transform into wind and sand - it will interrupt the transition he will fall so you can punish him dodge the giant scarab and from that onwards is as easy as it gets

Get the loongwreath staff and level up pluck of many and when the boss turns into that invisible cloud, transform into red tides so you won’t take any damage. You’re welcome.
