Earned my sub the minute you not only showed running Snare x Snowglobe combo but also followed it up pointing out the bonus damage to Darkness Debuffed Enemies! So many people seem to be overlooking this!!! Renewal Grasps have become a bit niche for PVP after all the nerfs they got (They've been buffed a lot now btw!) You still get a decent Crystal on Prismatic, throw the Smoke on the Crystal, if any enemy triggers the Smoke? It blows the Crystal up doing even more damage!

Of course! Huge update though, I think swarm nades are the go to right now, I never realized how strong they’re right now, only counter to them is another prismatic hunter running spectre to bait the nades

@@Promisent They added increased Scorch stacks! Obviously Prismatic is the new toy, but Swarm Nades on Solar with the increased Scorch Fragment? They're disgusting haha. I cant help myself though, I can finally use Blink AND Mask of Bakris! Snowglobe & the Slow Dodge with the Lightshift is such a get out of jail free card! Shoot your Spectre, off go Threadlings at a frozen/heavily slowed enemy & easy clean up!

Is resilience important at all as a hunter? I have an armor set that would put me exactly like yours but I’m a D1 returning player and I’m trying to understand if resilience is even important?

Resilience helps for pulse rifle engagement and you also have a bump in shield hp , which maxes you out to 230. Tier 7 resilience is optimal, any higher doesn’t really make much a difference. If you can max out Recovery, Mobility , and intellect, than I would try to build towards resilience. But if you want abilities, I would maybe lower intellect down to tier 7-8 and bring everything else in balance. Strength doesn’t require much to build into because your dodge gives your melee back and sourcing into mobility will help with that more often than not. Resilience only matters if you choose to engage with pulse rifle fights though, that’s why I opt in for the resilience, if not, than I wouldn’t worry to much unless you really care enough about it to get it at a optimal stat point.

Throwing this out... Hunters don't need 100 Mobility 😲 If you're at say 2 or 3 Intellect but you've got 100 Recovery, Discipline & Mobility (Triple 100's is doable btw) you could bump up the Intellect by lowering Mobility. With my Armour I cant actually lower the 100 Discipline. I wouldn't go any lower than 70 Mobility & on some of my builds I run a Gauntlet Mod that gives you Dodge Energy for damaging with Grenade or Melee. 70 also works better with Blink but that's a whole other convo 😄

Destiny 2 vanilla was the start of a new slate for me and back in the end of d1 was when I wanted to be really good at PvP

@@Seven-o7 I’m a claw player, I use my B to slide/crouch, my controller does have that feature but I don’t use them because I’m not used to it and it feels more natural pressing it down perferably. I use scuf hunter instinct pros if you were wondering.

Stompees, for targeting, I was running double solar targeting for Red death or you can do a kinetic targeting and solar targeting Double kinetic dexterity, with fastball Double unflinching solar , if you have a good decent build, I would try triple unflinching and triple targeting Boots don’t really matter but orb pickups for class ability cooldown or health, either or. Cloak, bombers , reaper mod

Turn in trials engram and focus armor with ghost mod on with your desired stat. You can also turn in your seasonal echo engrams in the Helm and focus them for armor while having the Ghost mod for your desired stat.

It only works on certain weapons, like running Hawkmoon will proc the fragment but other weapons, they won’t. It entirely depends on what weapon and I probably should’ve covered that in the video explaining why but oh well.

@@cravingbanana6564 Corkscrew gives it a total range of 96 and handling is at 95. I rather take the maxed out handling with smallbore then maximizing range. It’s a precision frame, therefore it’s already a consistent shotgun frame with opening shot alleviating it even more to make it the best kinetic shotgun in its arsenal. You also probably didn’t take into account that opening shot on special weapons only get “half” the value of what it provides to primary weapons. Meaning, you’re only getting roughly 12-12.5 extra range on the initial opening shot. With my role, you’re getting 98 range and 100 handling, pair it with quick access sling for faster / stow animation speed, you’re getting the most use of its swapping capabilities while running prismatic arc super on hunter. Also taking into account running targeting mods and dexterity mods to. Although I just realized running barrel shroud does provide 100 range and 100 handling for both stats while running range MW so I might change my someday shotgun
