This Scorp Mini 2 is much more along the lines of what I’m booking for from a gimbal for automotive video. Would love to see more in-depth coverage of this product as well as how it stacks up against the top phone gimbals of last year, like iSteady m6, Smooth 5, insta360…

good stuff!! do you know if the scorp mini 2.. will balance phone cages as well, such as the Beastgrip iPhone 15 cage , or the Beastgrip universal pro cage, comfortably , with external phone lenses attached ?

Can be the wheel be used to zoom function?

You can program the wheel to control the pan, tilt and roll axis. I am not sure if it can also be adjusted to control the zoom

Thanks! I guess it would work theortetically, I would not recommend it though as the shotgut mic with a windscreen just brings the entire thing completely off balance

Thank you for the wonderful review. I am filming with S23 ultra plus lenses. I need AI tracking. This is a must. I don’t understand how to use a mic because there is no room for the receiver. If I position the mare in a different way, it is unusual and makes different footage. Can you recommend any gimbal with AI and the ability to use mic? Also, I need a button to quickly go vertical. Like with DJI4.
