I only came across your channel today as I was looking for reviews of the X100VI. I picked one up just under two weeks ago and have been comparing my experiences of using it, with KZbin presenters. I watched the one in the snow in Italy and really enjoyed it. I subscribed to your channel straight away and this is only the second video I have watched. Boy, what fun your videos are. Full of great technical info but so much enthusiasm, fun and humour. So, once again, thank you very much indeed for almost 18 minutes of pleasure.

I’ve had a R6 ii for a year now and I’m still deeply impressed with it. Once I got the AF set up the way I needed it’s a joy to use. The image quality is very very good. 👍 the only way it could better is to have a stacked sensor.

It is an incredibly strong camera, glad to hear you're enjoying it! Thanks for watching - Amy 🙂

Which specific AF Case setting did you have this set to at the 7:36 mark where he passed by you and the eye AF stayed on you ? Was it Case #1, #4 Auto or a custom set for sensitivity or track ?

Thanks for the video..great work. With all the buzz around the r5Mkii, I still wonder if this is not significantly better bang for buck - here in Australia it's a difference of around $3500 to $6400. That money saved would buy one nice L lens...possibly making a bigger difference overall. Can you see any significant reason why one should go all out and get the newer bigger cam?

in short no, Do you print large format? do take pictures of extremely eratictic moving subjects? do you want the hassle and expense of CF express? can you deal with a slightly heavier and larger body? DO you need a nice lens to attach to that body? There wont be alot between them nothing that really night and day The one thing that I will say that isnt mentioned in the review is moiré is pretty strong on the R6ii, see it in jeans, suit jacks and any fine detail. Can mostly be dealt with but I have a couple of photos from a trip to Budapest that I just can get rid of it on buildings

Thanks.. ended up getting the mk6ii.. also couldn't see any reason to spend nearly double for advantages that were negligible.. in fact prefer the portability of camera.. SD cards.. battery life etc. Thanks!

Estaba encantado con mi R6, pero esta se murió al caerme al mar. La sustituí por la R6 mark II y tengo que decir que he notado un salto importante de calidad. Gracias por el vídeo: muy didáctico y divertido.

Demonstrating how good the AF is with a 2.8 lens isn't representative, try it with the 200-800 at f9. I was thinking about upgrading, only picking the subject initially isn't lot different to the original, it is just a little stickier once it has capture. It is like upgrading to the R5ii, is it actually that much better.

Always enjoy your style of review - informative, but still packed with humour. Feel a Z8 in my future Vs an R6 II, mostly based on lens selection - but nevertheless, you make an excellent case for the R6 II.

That's great to hear, thanks for the feedback. Z8 vs R6 II is a really interesting decision. The resolution is a massive difference, and will have a big effect on your editing setup and image storage, outside of detail in the photos themselves. Let us know what you go for! Thanks for watching - Amy

I have the 2 r6ii's for wedding and family shoots with the 28-70 and a 50mm 1.2 and the combos are great very reliable and predictable. And if something goes wrong its normally me not the camera.could say that of my Fujis with there lasts firmwares rubbish by comparison.

Mam you are videographer can you tell me fps of human eye .are we able to see all frames in videos
@mpbcom3 ай бұрын
This is a really interesting question. Eyes do not see in frame rates, but there comes a point where they can no longer notice the changes between images and therefore see them as a moving picture. I've done some research and it seems like scientists believe we can see up to about 60fps, only noticing changed between frames up to around 40fps. However, to see a smooth moving picture we need a minimum of about 24fps. Hope this helps! Amy
