Kyle, I have to tell you that we bought a rundown house we are remodeling, but we couldn't get electricity to some of the upstairs lights and plugs. We actually checked the breaker and it was fine so we called the electrian. He comes out checks the breaker first thing and one of them had to be pushed super hard, he did and darn it , it worked. He felt bad though so he gave us a big break he said, only charged us $100 bucks, thanks ever so much.

Herc’s job is not only to protect the goats but to protect his humans. It is a good thing. Except you will not be able to go on vacation unless you make a way for the farm sitter a safe way to get Herc separated from the herd so all can be fed.

Kyle, have you ever thought about placing an aluminum RV cover over your RV roof? These can help with keeping your RV cooler! Start saving up for one of those! Don’t know what they’re called, but well worth it! We had one over our RV at one time! The size was huge, it stood 12 feet tall, with 4 aluminum posts and aluminum panels on top for roof!

That definitely sounds like something they could use over the camper for the heat and would also help with keeping the rain and freezing ice temperatures from accumulating on the roof… **** idea here… would be to have everyone donate what you can towards this much needed RV cover… Remembering when everyone did this for Chad and Rae to get their gravel dumped on their driveway at their first property 20acres.. It was heartwarming to see just how much they were loved…

Keep good eye on RV ac not built for long term use. You’re right it will be pricey to have work or replacement….ask me I know😮 anyway can your electric grid handle a regular window unit or even mini split somehow. Gotta do lil extra for the split but double duty heat and ac Just a thought from former ‘girl’ trailer owner 😁👍😎😎😎😎🧊🧊🧊🧊🥶🥶

My uncle always said his camper was like being in a tin can in the Sun… cold in the winter, hot in the summer. Hopefully someday you’ll be able to build a home for yourselves… campers are temporary housing!! God✝️Bless Shady Acres

Great idea on the hose, Kyle! I will definitely follow on my fences the next time I have to pull a hose over. Shanon, instead of throwing plants out, you may want to consider pulling them and throwing them back into the beds as a good mulch to cover the bare dirt. If not there, then definitely into the compost, but you really need a good ground cover in the beds. Any bare dirt and you lose the water to evaporation.

I think it might be better to raise his bowl so he doesn't hunker down so much to inhale his canned food. My Labrador passed away from a twisted stomach. Such a horrible way to go for such a vital animal. She had a similar build to Hercules. Even placing Herc's bowl up on a cement block near his dry food feeder box may be enough. The heat wave everybody is experiencing right now is just crazy. It's just abnormally hot for this time of the year. We have a very large cluster of trees that we have taken a glider and put under them where it's much cooler so we have someplace to sot when we have our dogs outside. I'm so excited about my garden this year. I actually have tomatoes & green beans growing & getting blossoms on my watermelon! I'm really enjoying my garden. Yours is looking beautiful!

That is so smart, to keep the dogs apart. That was the main issue with that dog your brother had. He was always up in Smokey's face and leaping at him and driving him wild. Thankfully the stupid thing finally attacked another animal and had to be removed but I had felt so very sorry for Smokey for all the time he was around. Poor thing had no peace at all.

Your goats really do understand you. As soon as you name them, they do their thing. 😅 Hose fix - I do similar with pool noodles, but within goaties reach nope. Great idea using old hose. Loved watching Herc and Luigi play. Also again suggest building a cover over trailer. Helps keep it cooler in summer and warmer in winter and protects from elements. I am a broken record, i love your videos.

Our heat indexes here in Indiana have been 90s and 100s for over a Week.😢. My one a/c and fans can't keep up. My house has been in the 80s actual temperature. With 2 chronic debilitating issues in my whole back and neck I haven't been able to get my bigger window a/c unit switched. I just keep hoping it will get better soon. Our humidity has been anywhere from 40 percent to 50 percent. Can't sweat or breathe properly when it's like this. I know you're both younguns K+S. Please be safe with yourselves and your critters. No matter how much I enjoy your videos I can wait rather than seeing anybody or any critters at risk because of heat.

Ok...more unsolicited advice: I see Herc as your LGD for the goats, guineas, and any future critters. Nala is your indoor pet/Princess. I see Bruno as the home guardian. While you're living in the trailer, then once you get your home built, that should be his territory. That way he knows what his role he plays in the family. Start training him now (like you don't already have enough on your plate 😉) to know what's expected of him, just the way you already have been. Keep building on that as he gets older as you build your homestead. He and Herc may never be "fishing buddies", but that's ok. They'll be loyal to the death to you guys. If you read this, I thank you. 😊

I have been wanting to suggest that RV Cover for the longest time! OR EVEN swap out the RV for a 2-3 bedroom single wide or double wide mobile home. Have you thought about maybe putting up a sun sail canopy over the camper. Tie it to the trees to give yourself a little more shade over the camper. Use carabiner clips that can make it easier to take down in the fall Just a thought

Just a thought, have y’all thought about putting an awning or lean-to over the RV? It would help so much with keeping the RV cool & protecting it from storm damage. The AC wouldn’t have to work so hard. Maybe even warm through the winter. Great video.

Hey so I did some research for you 2, and found a recipe for mouse control. It's 1 cup flour 2 pkgs. Dry yeast and 4 table spoon graded cheese. Mix well- put in shallow containers the put out where needed 😊😊😊

It is always those last minute check the breaker! I have done that as well. Even on the furnace in a brand new home. Think of having a guy come fix the furnace and flips a breaker in the furnace area itself. We all have those moments.

Kyle, get a garden rake to go thru that tall grass with the rocks in it. Yard rake won’t work too flimsy. That’ll help you not pick up a snake too. Lol. I wish I had the land for a catahoula curr. Had one when we were growing up. Great family dog and protector. Luv ur dogs. The goats 😂😂😂. What can I say, they are hilarious!!!
