What a fantastic little speaker. Its amazing a speaker can sound this good and still be held in the hand. When I bought mine from amazon along with the case, I automatically got a $15 off coupon, so all together with tax, it cost me around $63. I love the sound of this speaker. If I can find out how to pair 2 together for stereo sound, I'll be purchasing another one. It is so cool you can even take phone calls on the speaker and the sound is very good. Audio books sound really good as well. For those who wonder which is better the sound max, or the stormbox, from what research I've done, the stormbox is better. If you don't yet own one of these speakers, then do yourself a favor, and get one. There headphones are also very good as well.

Hi to all. Granted I haven't yet used my Tribit Stormbox for several hours like when listening to a book, but I have used it for phone calls. The battery on this speaker is insane, it still shows as 50% charge remaining. It is my opinion, that the best sound from this speaker can be heard if you have the volume and play buttons facing towards you. Enjoy your speaker.

I like the Tribit Stormbox - bought another one to pair them and was disappointed with the stereo imaging. I think I will keep the extra though. Maybe I will try that again with a different eq app ...They do sound good and seem built well.

Dude my doubt is jbl flip 4 is having both front facing speakers so if we place jbl flip 4 facing towards us we could get a total of 8×2=16 watts of total sound output. But in Tribit Stormbox the speakers are facing towards the sides so if we place Stormbox facing towards us we will get only less sound output. So for getting better sound output we have to place the speaker either on right direction or left direction facing towards us. But if we place the speaker on right or left facing towards us we are only getting a 12 watt sound output and the other 12 watt speaker is facing backward so how could we get a better audio quality than jbl flip 4 and flip 3 and how could we get a immersive sound experience?. Please clarify my doubt bro

Very simple that's why they got affordable price tags coz they have much less established brand name compared to JBL and Ultimate Ears and Sony. The price point is what's gonna keep them in demand. But for sure with the price point, build and sound quality they will make a noise in portable Bluetooth speaker market!
