These guys like staying in either light or dark areas but they don't seen to move when I'm not petting or eating

Let them roam free and you will see how much they RUN! They love to run, jump and explore. They also run going through tunnels and around the how. If they are just sleeping or not moving is probably because they don't have enough space to run and play
