I hear that for healers, we should still go with DMG for the pets with demon hound and colt, instead of snow leopard. The reasons include 1) Every pet other than Demon hound and colt will get replaced by gen 2 pets. 2) Haste has cap on 50% Do you still feel that Snow leopard is still best for healers? You can only make preset for the passives unfortunately. The pet moves does not carry over

Support Melomon are stat sticks yes. You get stats from their levels, stars and equipped moves. That's it.

Increase DMG increases all damage output, however skill damage is broken down into "tactical skill" "Core skill" "passive skill" or even just the damage of the skill itself the stat is on.

Are you saying about the dragon? If so, theres no way to survive, its a time limit to kill the dragon. If you are talking about the challenger 3, you need to have suficient DPS to break the shield of the boss, if the shield is broken he wont use the skill to wipe all

Yes but u can never go wrong with hound as the main, then colt for the next one and whatever u get for the 3rd. Hound and colt bc of damage and crit which increase your healing

Why is it necessary to equip support monsters that are not the same as the one we will use for the support/special skill of the main monster? Thanks!

Because in order to increase a Melomon's passive skill you need to rank it up using dupe fragments. To star up the Melomon also uses fragments. So therefore it makes sense to use a Melomon in support whose skill you don't need so you can put all the frags into stars which you get stats from. And not have to compromise on the skill level you can get on one of your main Melomon skills.
