I'm glad that your top 50 indie game video got picked up by the algorithm, because I just had the joy of marathoning your backlog while doing my chores. Your videos -to me- seem like a nice combination of analysis as well as the appreciation for games you see in Top 10 videos. Hope your channel continues to gain recognition as it continues to grow!

I feel like this channel has massive potential, please keep reviewing both old and new indie titles! Your opinions would have saved me from a few disappointments already, and as a consequence of your praise I'm buying Tunic now and going to check it out.

I played Tunic thanks to your recommendations in this and the Top 50 video.... And I absolutely love it. One of my favourite games ever, and I would have probably missed it if not for this channel. So, thank you!

Tunic was easily my biggest surprise of the year. I went in expecting a pretty good Zelda like experience, but got so much more.

My #1 of 2022 is Tunic! Reminded me of Outer Wilds in terms of the feeling of discovering new knowledge and your brain is like "WOW, it was here from the very beginning, that changes EVERYTHING!". It's a pity that Tunic was underrated at most of indie awards. Unfortunately, a lot of people did not go further zelda-souls-like elements and did not have time to taste the main highlight which is the manual

holy shit 10/10 video, i like your commentary and opinions, I think this type of video would be better without any extra memes or edits but keep up what your doing

Once again - nice video! Would love to see a video essay where you talk about the sense of freedom in games or the illusion of freedom. The thing openworld games seeks to accomplish. In Fallout 3 for example - you really get the feeling that you are the one discovering megathon, even though we all did it.

Thanks for making these videos, I think our tastes are very similar and, tastes aside, your analysis was very well-reasoned and fair. You've motivated me to move Tunic nearer the top of my to-play list. The top 50 video was also fantastic -- I won't spoil the top ones you mentioned there for people who haven't watched it yet, but I'll definitely be trying all of the games you ranked highly there.

First great video, love to receive your channel notifications. I was cheering for Tunic to win the indie game of the year, since it was the only one I play. But you were right that the indie nominated best game usually wins. At least most youtubers are agreeing that Tunics is one of the best and giving the praise it deserves.

I had fun with Stray, I got all the achievements, but like you said, there's nothing much making me want to revisit it. It did however lead me to explore more indie games - first with Annapurna and then many more. TUNIC on the other hand, became one of my favourite games. It's the kind of game I've thought about for hours and hours after completing it. I just wish I could forget about it so that I could play it for the first time again, because, yeah, it's one of those ones.

Stray is one of the few popular indie titles I bought, downloaded, and quit playing after a few hours of gameplay. It's definitely a head scratcher to me why it is so popular, I thought for sure I would love it. I shouldn't be too surprised though, I've always been more of a dog person.

chained echoes came too late in the year for game awards, but this game should be in the discussion for best indie game 2022

I enjoyed Stray as well, but agree it was lacking in some areas, but it was gorgeous. Honestly, the addition of combat really missed the mark for me. I would have enjoyed more puzzles or some other skill based experience instead. I'd love to see a sequel with more options as it was a gorgeous world and has much more to offer. I just discovered your channel and I'm gobbling it up now. Your top 50 indie games video made me remember a bunch of games I have but have fallen to the wayside that I'm going to revisit. Especially outer wilds and a short hike! ☺️

My top 3 would be #1 Rogue Legacy 2 #2 Tunic #3 Immortality Then Sifu and Neon White for #4-5 (they are great, but the top3 better imo) I did not play Stray, I watched a streamer playing Cult of the Lamb, it was fun, but not 10/10

I really wanted to get into Rogue Legacy 2 but the controls were so bad and the awful randomly generated level design and clunky combat was really off putting. Tunic is fantastic and def the best game on this list
