Proper general liability insurance for a pressure washing is NAIC # 561720 If that is not your NAIC # then you may have insurance coverage for janitorial work or maid service which will not properly protect you as a pressure washer. “General” liability needs to be specific to the category of service you are providing or you are not really covered for anything. Check your policy!

I think you are incorrect. Everywhere I looked, NAIC #561790 is for Pressure Washing. NAIC # 561720 is for cleaning building INTERIORS (Janitorial Services)

If you want to grow your company to other locations you need to be INC. Cause LLC will only take you so far and 1m insurance policy covers pretty much everything and get workman's comp.

Finally something I agree 100% on. Commercial vehicle insurance is required. Personal insurance will not cover if you're using your own vehicles for commercial purposes. UbertLyft drivers regularly find out that personal insurance is as good as no insurance if accident occurs while driving for Uber/Lyft.

@@randybobandy9828 depends. In a lot, but not all cases,the commercial policy will cover accidents outside of commercial use. There's also addons for personal policies that will cover incidental commercial activities. I.e. when driving for Uber is truly an occasional type thing (as Uber was originally intended) not regular commercial driving (as most/a lot of Uber drivers do, aka doing trips just to make money, not driving somewhere and picking someone up that happens to be along your route)

I have always heard pressure businesses use customer water, the price for water is very low like 50 cents per 1000 gallons. So you will never make a noticeable difference on a customers water bill.

The homeowner or an insurance company cannot enter into a legally binding contract with a minor. Suing you would be pointless because you have no money. They could try to take your parents to court. As a home owner, I would not hire someone who is not an insured adult.

Well if you don't have employees then you don't have to worry about that. Make a llc so if a customer sues you they can't go after your personal business. If you're 16 and starting out I wouldn't have insurance because nobody is going to bother trying to sue a 16 year old who they know( or think is broke) once you start doing well and making good money then you can get insurance.

@@danielfox3399 oh lol. Well when it's really dirty it looks old as hell and it's a lot more slippery. And what you said goes for cleaning anything. When you wash socks, as soon as you put them on they'll have lots of bacteria on them again. Or when you wash your car, a short drive will put dirt back on it. But people still clean things knowing all this.
