Just so ye know the little round thing on the injector pump next to the dip stick is a primer bulb. It has a little lever on the side to prime the diesel. Also, where the stop cable attaches to the injector pump is a button which give her extra diesel to aid in cold starts

Hey bud, love your channel. There is a primer on the side of the fuel pump on the injection pump. It has a small lever on the left side that will help you prime the fuel next time. Also there is a bleeder on the side of the pump.

It’s got a lift pump on the fuel pump to prime it, you can also bleed the injector lines at the top of the motor. Also make sure to check the oil in the fuel pump. Do some research and you’ll find what I’m talking about. I’ve grown up around these tractors so I know most of their tricks. Contact me if you need any help with it. Great video

That 401 ford engine has a bleed screw on the side of the injector pump, you crack it every time you change fuel filters, then crank the engine over and they will fire right up. Once running close it back down and good to go. I Learned it the hard way after fighting my 9700 for hours after changing the fuel filters I broke my pride and called the dealership

Lower front of pump facing out that little lever you can also push it foward at its top and that puts those sims pump in full fuel position not full throttle but full fuel. Fof starting !

I really hope you get this tractor sorted out. I am not a farmer and I dont have land, but I have always wanted a tractor since I was a kid. I'm nearly 60 nw and still havent had one. My Father, Shirley Dale Baker, was on the Engineering test team at New Holland , Pa plant when this model came out. He has Dementia now but he told me a story about when they were testing this model one day it came loose from the chain tie downs once in the dyno room with duals on it and crawled right up the wall and just tore the shit out of the room before it was shut down. Great looking and running tractors. This would have been several years before Fiat bought That plant in PA..Thanks Jack Baker

Before every oil change I was always told to run a quart of transmission fluid in a full take with the diesel. It cleans the entire fuel system and injectors way better then those fuel system cleaners will.

That Fuel pump has a primer pump on it , you have to pump it about 40 times after a fuel filter change 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

If u are having trouble starting it then where the throttle connects to the engine there should be a button if u put the tractor full throttle push that in and then once the tractor fires up bring the engine to an idle well that’s how our tractors in the uk

Thanks for the Video..... That was a pretty neat transformation......Even the pressure washer made a big difference, but the Foam just made it sparkle.....I'm surprised it didn't start right up, considering how it seems most everything you buy is afraid not to start right up.....lol..... Never been into Diesel, worked on a lot of Tractors when I was in school, mostly gas. Great tip on the ATF for cleaning the Injector. That is going to be so nice when its done.....
